2nd failed attempt 7 Eggs but none made it :-/
Very sad post to write, we had our Egg collection on Wednesday and we had 7 eggs, 4 were not good quality,1 died when injected and the other 2 didn't fertilise . This is our second go self funded £6,500 Each time plus a vasectomy reversal cost so we are not ready for another go yet and my partner has

Surgery is behind me
Hi all! I had a cystectomy and prostatectomy (along with assorted other bits a parts), last Tuesday. Surgery took over 10 hours and was all done robotically. I came home yesterday and am learning to live with a "bag". I'm tired and weak, but feel amazingly well--little to no pain or other discomfort

Scans
I had
mastectomy
in Jan after finding a lump of precancer, turned out there were two lumps of advanced cancer stage 2, had an Oncotype test and chemo followed.! They have said I'm borderline as to whether I need to have radiotherapy, but should I have any scans before they decide this.?

Feeling rubbish!
Hello, I had keyhole lap, cystectomy and hystoscopy 3 weeks ago, I was told bladder and bowel are stuck and I will need open surgery. I've been put on a course of 3 months zoladex of which I had the first just over a week ago. I've had spotting now for 2 weeks and since the implant have felt rubbish.

Returning to work
I had a
mastectomy
in March and do not need further treatment. Is it wise to return to my part time clerical job while I still have swelling and stinging under my arm. I am not eligible for SSP due to insufficient contributions and have used my CSP so am now a 'kept' woman.

Ready for Surgery, Need Advice
I was disagnosed with stage 2, muscle invasive bladder cancer, N-0, M-0 in April. Two MRIs showed no cancer outside the bladder. After 6 sessions of chemotherapy, my oncologist has determined it is time to remove the bladder (along with prostate and lymph nodes). Since I'm age 70, he's concerned about

Bowel / toilet problems
A proportion of people who have had treatment for cancer suffer difficulties with sudden loss of control over bowel movements, and indeed some suffer from chronic diarrhoea issues. Dr Jervoise Andreyev, the gastroenterologist from Royal Marsden, and his colleague Ann Muls, have been in the forefront

Help!
Hello all, 2 weeks ago i had a laparoscopy, cystectomy and hystoscopy, I was told the cyst ruptured whilst being removed. I was also told when I came round that the endometreosis has stuck my bowel an bladder. I was told I will have to have "definitive" surgery to treat that. I have been put on a 3 month

LETROZOLE
Hi all, I had surgery last December I had a
mastectomy
with immediate reconstruction. I didn't require chemotherapy nor radiotherapy and feel very fortunate. My tumour was receptive to oestrogen so I was put on LETROZOLE , my first 'brand' gave me terrible joint pain.

Rash following Taxol and Herceptin doses
But she only had
mastectomy
in Feb and PET was done one months earlier. I appreciate it could well be side effect from Taxol and Herceptin. Under the circumstances, the oncologist suggest that we look into radiation or visit onco-surgeon. Any advise/recommendation would be highly appreciated.

Feeling down a few weeks after the mastectomy and not ready to go back to work
I had a single
mastectomy
on the 23rd May. I was diagnosed with invasive ductual cancer. The consultant told me that the treatment should be chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy. After the
mastectomy
the results from the tissue analysis was that I did not need any further treatment.

How do i stop feeling confused and despaired
I am new here. I was recently diagnosed to have ovarian endometriosis after ultrasounds, transvaginal ultrasounds and ca 125 tests. Two gyneas suggested an ovarian cystectomy while two others said the laparoscopy doesn't always guarantee it would not recur so they prefer i look at the medical approach

Another shock
I had a
mastectomy
before Christmas and was told everything was o.k. But January this year the pain in my chest and back was getting so bad I thought the operation had upset the vasculitis and thought it would settled.

Bile reflux after liver transplantation or just Acid Reflux? Anyone?
Hello all, I'm still here feeling so horrible with all these symptoms. They put me on metoclopramide but I felt so depressed and distressed after taking them. I do not have good experience with these anti nausea medications. Cyclizine was another one that basically used to make me so drowsy when I was

Rt Breast Swelling.
Mastectomy
Surgery 4/26/13 for cancer. I also have implants. The past week I have noted that my Rt. Breast is much larger then the Lt and firm. I have been using compression which helps but wondered if anyone was doing self massage with good results.
