Mastectomy

Mastectomy and clearance of lymph nodes, radiation, chemo, herceptin, eight years of hormonal,therapy. Well and happy!

ErPr+Her- About 4 weeks ago, Had right mastectomy and all nodes removed as one node biopsied with cancer. Turned out 3 nodes had cancer so now I’m awaiting results of nuclear bone scan and ct scan to see if it spread. I had a tissue expander inserted .

HR/PR+HER- Chemo/Radiation/Mastectomy Ibrance/Faslodex/Orserdu

I have just had mastectomy early stage BC No positive nodes so no further treatment apart from aromatase inhibitors. No blood tests or scans done for further involvement. However ongoing and unexplained abdo swelling and pains which are not acknowledged or diagnosed by rhumatologist.

I am a breast cancer survivor the first surgery was 34 years ago. after many lumpectomies I finally had a bilateral mastectomy 2019. 2022 it was found mid sternum so after removal of the lump and radiation I was put on Fulvestrant. Thank you for your time in answering.

I had a double mastectomy in 2022, and am taking Arimidex. My bone density went down rapidly to about -2.6 . My oncologist recommended an exercise company called Osteo Strong which I am trying out.

I’m 48 and just had a double mastectomy almost 4 weeks ago. My bc tumor was 1.2 cm and ER/PR positive and HER 2 negative with an onco type score of 21 and nymph nodes were negative. I was hoping I was done with treatment, but was told I need to take tamoxifen.

However, his wife had a double mastectomy some months back and is not doing well at all. She's a young woman, somewhere in her 40's or early 50's, and still working whenever she can.

IIIB chemo/infection/mastectomy radiation. 2021 - MBC bone Ibrance /Faslodex 2023- primary Lung Cancer/RT upper lobectomy March 2024-progression Orserdu. May 2024- major POD bones & liver May 2024- to begin Tredolvy.

Also, same question to anyone who has had multiple recurrences on their mastectomy line, within 2 years of the operation. Thanks very much. D

Have been on tamoxifen for 6 years after mastectomy, chemo and radiotherapy. I've still not had my 5th year follow up with the oncologist, when I call them they just say “sorry no capacity”.

Directly after my op , ( mastectomy) ( i weighed myself when i was up , thought i must have slost at least 4lbs, my boob didnt weigh nothing !)

Anything you would recommend for a friend who’s had a sudden diagnosis & speedy Mastectomy? I know even behind send not wholly appropriate things shows support and has value for the recipient, but I’d like to maximise its relevance… Any suggestions? Thanks

I’ve had gallbladder removed, full hysterectomy, mastectomy, thyroid removed and 2 hip ops. I just get so scared that it’s cancer although my gp reassures me it isn’t. Is this normal ibs?

I was treated with a double mastectomy, hormonal therapy, and chemotherapy. I had no radiation. Now, in 2024, I have a metathesized breast cancer primarily in the bones with foci in my lungs, and thickening in my pleura.

Hi, I was diagnosed with extended DCIS with ER+, PR+.I had a total mastectomy with a diep flap 2 weeks ago, My surgeon referred me to medical oncology for hormonal therapy.

Just over 1 year ago I had 10 rounds of radiation on my spine (T7-T9) for pain management .1 year ago I had my another port put in (1st was taken out with the mastectomy), 7 new tumors in my brain treated with SRS ( targeted radiation).
