Returning from breast cancer - advice needed
I graduated a few months ago and almost straight away found that I had breast cancer, as a result of which I had a
mastectomy
and DIEP reconstruction which means I have abdominal as well as chest wounds. I am now counting down the days until I can start running again (21 days from today).

but due to my other medical conditions that for the time being is not an option plus chemo, radiotherapy and some of the hormone drugs.

Gall Bladder Removal
Hi - I had my gall bladder removed about 20 years ago, and have struggled with my weight since then. Does the removal of this organ make it harder to loose weight ( particularly around the tummy area)?

Hello ladies, let's get this online support community started!?
Sometimes I wonder if the women in my family should just do like Angelina Jolie and get a double
mastectomy
before anything... Any of you breast cancer survivors and mothers can relate?

Feeling of lump in neck and throat
Hi, I started with breast cancer in September 2012, has
mastectomy
and the full works of chemo and radiotherapy. Ever since the hospital put in the 'port' for the chemo I've had the feeling of something in my throat and neck.

Too many things going on. Need that mojo back - and some luck (good preferably)
Since then, she has had a
mastectomy
and is undergoing chemo. Runs slowly dwindled to 1 - 2, 5 - 10k runs per week. Then my wife decides that it's time to call time on our marriage (this not a complete shock - just the timing). Mojo slipping further!

Ovarian Cysts & Bladder Urachal Remnant/Lesion
I had a Cystoscopy (camera inside bladder) in March 2015 to check for bladder lesions because of microscopic hematuria (microscopic blood in urine). The procedure didn't cause any pain during or afterwards -The Urologist applied a Anesthetic Gel to numb the urethra . I also had a CT scan with contrast

Breast cancer, radiotherapy and fibromyalgia
Yesterday it was confirmed that I have breast cancer and need a
mastectomy
which will be done on the 13th May. However, the doctors are not too sure about how the radiotherapy that will follow will react with my fibromyalgia. Please can anyone tell me about their experience of this. Thank you.

B12 and Magnesium
After reading the post by Steve101 on this subject a month ago, I was so intrigued that I decided to seek a medical opinion. Like many people who have had an oesophagectomy, I sometimes suffer from fatigue and a general lack of energy. I forwarded the post to the Chairman of our local Upper GI Network
