Lap cystectomy

Hi,

I posted back in September with an uss having found bilateral complex cysts. My two week wait ended up downgraded as no uss scan results were added to referal so November when I saw consultant. Then waited for repeat uss December then results which telephone call was normal they didn't want to do any thing. And Wednesday I had 48hr notice to attend consultant appointment who is now recommending lap cystectomy. She's sure all is normal blood test wise and statistic wise. Just a sudden change of heart on plan - to be honest I don't want them inside me and would rather know exactly what they are up to inside them. Bit anxious about it now.
