Parietal cell antibody test
I know I'm repeating myself but want to be clear. Is it correct that if you test negative for this it's reliable? I've not had the intrinsic factor test. I'm asking as I'm getting the vibe as one year in now the surgery want to decrease my B12 injections. B12 was put on my latest blood form after

Hi everyone, I’m trying to get off Ropinirole, I have lowered the dose over the last few days which means I am now on 0.25mg. I also started on 25mg of Pregabalin at the same time I reduced the Ropinirole. My doctor has told me to increase the Pregabalin by 25mg every week till I reach 100mg. I would

First timer - how does a short protocol work?
Hello ladies I'm brand new to this forum. After 10 unsuccessful rounds of clomid and letrozole, we have now been referred to start ivf. My nhs consultant said it would likely be a 'short protocol' due to my pcos. My question is about how the process starts if I don't have any normal cycles. From what

Beds and mattresses
I’m having a terrible time sleeping. I wake up every couple of hours - sometimes even less and I know I’m tired. I’ve got the room totally darkened out and quiet. The temperature is fine too yet every night I waken over and over again. Usually I waken up really hot. I blame my mattress. At the moment

Neupro helps a little
My sleep study doctor said my main issue affecting my sleep is restless leg. He gave me a sample of Neupro which is a patch. It helped a little bit. Last night I tried grape seed extract right at bedtime and I didn't notice my RLS as much. Hope that helped.

Withdrawal from ropinarole
I have been on ropinarole for 10 years starting at 1mg then moving on to 3mg daily. I think I started argumenting because I couldn't sleep any more. I started to wean myself of the ropinarole and got down to 1mg but couldn't go any less because the restless leg was driving me crazy. My doctor put me

Downs screening
A friend has received her bloods back as a 1 in 170 chance. I know the freshold is 150. She missed her 14 week NT as the midwife made a mistakein her booking/dates. As she is not within the 150 she has been told that she can not have the 2nd more accurate blood test. Has anyone else had a result close

Stem cell transplant for Myelofibrosis
After 12 years with PV and then 2 years with MF I explained in a letter to my consultant that were the decision to have a transplant entirely mine it is what I would wish for. I'd been on Jakavi for a year and it had ceased to help. I then went onto the Pacritinib trial which curtailed night sweats

Done with Lutetium
I completed five of the six infusions in the VISION clinical trial before I was excluded due to low hemoglobin. The initial and main cause of the low hemoglobin was my bone marrow transplant in late 2017, but the level continued dropping. Lutetium reduced my PSA by about 300 per infusion, in a linear

My RLS has become worse!!
From all I've read here, people's RLS gets better with passing weeks of the withdrawals. For me, it has been a reverse case. While the initial weeks weren't so bad, the last week or so has been horrible. I remember even during the withdrawal period that I slept for 4hours straight or on some good days
