Your TSH is very high for someone on NDT. How do you take it? Do you take it on an empty stomach, etc. just like levo?

rT3 and rT3 ratio are a waste of time and money. They don't give you any useful information.

Your ferritin is rather low. Do you eat liver?

You have Hashi's - did you already know that?

Hi Greygoose, thank you for coming back to me. I take NDT at 6am on an empty stomach, 1 hour away from food. I have been taking ferrous fumarate for 10 months 210mg x1 per day... taken so long to get ferritin up from 12 to 42!! I eat liver twice a month and steak once a month... maybe I should have liver once a week to boost my ferritin levels. NDT has been a problem from the onset... increasing and then decreasing, weight fluctuations, fatigue etc., Looking at my T3 it seems like I need to increase but that I also need to get my ferritin up. Yes I do have Hashi's, gluten and dairy free because of gut problem.

Do you take your ferrous fumarate four hours away from your NDT?

Liver once a week would be a good idea. But, not more than that because it's rich in vit A, and you don't want too much vit A. :)

Hello Greygoose, yes I take iron at 6pm away from all other supplements! Thanks for the tip about liver. In your opinion, am I wise to get ferritin up first before possibly increasing NDT?

I think it might be a good idea, yes. :)
