Polyhydramnios at 29 weeks pregnant

Hi,

Newbie here. Just looking for any real experiences of polyhydramnios pregnancy and their outcomes.

I was diagnosed at 26 weeks with amniotic fluid at 97 percentile which has worried the hell out of me, especially after googling. Im terrified.

Does anyone have any experience or can offer some hope?

In addition, baby is measuring fine and diabetes and infection are negative x

Try not to worry too much I had the same with my first pregnancy they also tested for Down’s syndrome but mine was unexplained and they said sometimes that just happens I was given all sorts of scary scenarios and had to get induced at 39 weeks but it was all ok and she’s a healthy 22 month old there were no complications good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

Thank you so much for your reply. Baby has been tested for downs and stuff too which came clear so its looking like unexplained. I just worried as theres a lot and youre right about the horror stories so ive been in full panic mode.

Hi, I just got back from my 27 week ultrasound and I to was told that my amniotic fluid is mildly higher then normal. She scheduled my next appointment in 3 weeks. I’m also bad about googling symptoms and now I’m freaking out!! I had the genetic test done at 18 weeks and everything came back normal. Can I ask what test did you have done for your baby?
