Class 3 tights and reducing swelling
An experienced lymphoedema nurse who I see privately for lymph drainage
massage
says she thinks it is because I need smaller size tights. I am 5-ft 7 and I currently wear size 3 and have done since I got lymphedema 11 years ago. I can’t really understand how smaller tights would help.

First time visit to the Physio
When I replied no to the question of whether I had ever had a sports
massage
the physio was rather surprised and suggested that I ought to consider one on a regular basis (for me 4-6 weeks) once the knots were all out if I intended to keep running, these are generally less expensive than a standard physio

I used the
massage
gun on my legs and calves extensively last night and this morning so perhaps that made the difference. For my Hackney Half training I’m going to do a lot more stretching and yoga than I did last year. Happy runner today!

I know a negative IF test result can be inaccurate but can a positive one be false?
It wakes me and I have to
massage
them back to life but it tingles afterwards for days. I'm only 39 by the way and never had any health issues at all, although family members are riddled with auto immune diseases of diabetes, lupus, ulcerative colitis, thyroid issues etc.

Massage with Cll?
This could be a dumb question but do massages negatively impact people with Cll? Thoughts?

Any help?
Acupuncture really helps but it is expensive and so does hot showers, along with the TENS machine,
massage
and stretching but I fluctuate dramatically. I currently take Tramadol, Gabapentin & Naproxen for pain relief but this is just a sedative and wipes me out for about 3-4 hours after taking it.

Newbie - where to start ?
I have been referred to a chiropractor, but apart from a nice
massage
, this isn’t helping.. So, I’m 31 years old, 6ft 4 and ‘normal’ build. I lead a fairly healthy lifestyle but probably don’t exercise enough.

Overshot I think!
I was going to have a neck
massage
but my therapist tested positive for Covid so that's delayed! Not to mention the delayed effect of 3 days of lively grandchildren in the house! Apart from that not feeling unduly exhausted or unwell....just the normal tiredness that I have come to live with.

Bleb massage
I was asked at PoW hospital do I
massage
my blebs. I'd never heard of that before, and the only time anything like that was done, was by the consultants post Trabeculectomy. I try to
massage
them often, but do forget. But was told that 4 or 5 times a day helps lower the IOC pressures.

Back Pain
Rubbing/
massage
with hands by my partner helps a lot. The pain is not always in one spot. The location of the pain is all over the back. It is not directly on the spine. The pain location moves with rubbing.

Massage zoom workshop
Hi everyone I took part in this great session today and its definitely lifted my spirits and let me feel like me again for a few hours. I also did a Stretching zoom workshop a few weeks ago, both organised very well through Ovacome. I would urge more of you to join if you have the time and inclination
