A few questions about being a. ‘Glaucoma suspect’
I was going to book him a back and shoulder
massage
- so he would be lying face down on one of those
massage
tables with a hole for your face. Is there any evidence about
massage
affecting IOP?

A happy run
I had a Thai
massage
on Friday which hurt a fair bit, but it's taken the edge off weeks and weeks of pain and allowed me to move with more freedom. I did pre and post run exercises, but I am sore because I pushed it just a bit, so I know I'll need to do more stretching later. But I feel good!

Physio update
Thinks the hip pain is from my back injury from years ago so did some
massage
of the spine again as it seems to be working. My heel pain is Achilles tendinitis/ tendinopathy. I think that’s what he said 🤣. So he gave me some treatment and more exercises.

help: suboxone
I’ve tried chiropractic and
massage
and hot baths and Tylenol and nothing works for the pain and of course doesn’t work for the muscle weakness. I was reading that this is a serious side effect of Suboxone so I have asked Dr.

Short Pulse disease of steroid and A fib
PT and
massage
therapy are helping but I want to take quick trip home to New Orleans and thought a pulse dose of steroids might make the 3 hour flight/trip ( hanging out with family) a bit more tolerable. I have refused nerve pain meds , typically an anticonvulsant with nasty side effects .

knee relief
has anyone found a device to help with knee pain, eg heat/
massage
device? My osteoarthritis in my knees has got progressively worse over the last few months and I struggle to stand up from a sitting position.

Tell me about your Sports Massage…did it help?🤔🤞
My physio has suggested I have a sports
massage
, to see if some of this residual tightness can be released. She has recommended a colleague of hers - apparently a runner herself and has also been a Team GB Triathlete!

Devil's Claw alternative medication
I use Turmeric
massage
oil which does offer some relief for a while. We have a local health care shop who has prescribed Devil's Claw which I have been taking for two weeks. I do believe it is helping. My dose is two tablets, one in the morning and one at night. I am sleeping a little better.

Oooops, I did it again
It came about like this… oooh, the sun is shining… I must get out… puts on running gear for a walk… feels tired and stiff… maybe a stretch first… browses YouTube… clicks on cool looking monk guy… copies him (looking less cool)… getting into it… feeling my flow… zoning out… oooh, an ear
massage
… nice!

second attempt at writing
It’s been a busy couple of days since including a fantastic sports
massage
yesterday. I went and met my great niece and her little boy Rowan for a cuppa while my daughter had her
massage
and then she went and met a couple of work friends for coffee while I had mine.

Tingling and pricking
Massage
helps. It does not correspond to a taper withdrawal period. Over previous months I had this a few times at night when my whole body seemed to prick and tingle but it was gone by the morning. I put it down to lower doses of pred. I am now on 1.5mg after 3 years for GCA and a bit of PMR.
