After a few weeks of (probable) Covid sapping my energy, and then a hip niggle limiting my movement, today felt like my first "proper" run for a while; I ran 36 minutes five days ago, but that was a struggle. Today was 52 minutes and, if not easy or outright enjoyable, gave me my first runner's high for a while.
I had a Thai massage on Friday which hurt a fair bit, but it's taken the edge off weeks and weeks of pain and allowed me to move with more freedom. I did pre and post run exercises, but I am sore because I pushed it just a bit, so I know I'll need to do more stretching later. But I feel good!
Happy running everyone - have some flowers from my garden!

🍏What a beautiful garden! Glorious colour!! It’s SO good & motivating to get the runners high! Well done on the effort that wasn’t easy but you did it!!Hopefully COVID will now be a distant memory & you are back on track! Well done!
