I've had ADHD all my life but much less was understood about it when a teacher first suggested it. I didn't fall into the list of symptoms they knew at the time. Years later, in my 30's, I was in a therapy session and the therapist realized I had ADHD. Now I see a specialist for the meds and a therapist

anyone on any ssri’s / sertraline as well as a blood thinner? Support needed please
due to the heart issues I have I’m very limited to any anxiety medication I can have. The cardiologist has said sertraline is probably the safest. The pharmacist questioned it when I collected it due to a possible interaction with the blood thinner riveroxaban. Unfortunately I’ve googled it and now anxiety

I’m on the heart site’s so am on riveroxaban but also have generalised anxiety which has been quite bad at times. Counselling has had only limited effects. So my cardiologist has put me on sertraline. I’m limited on which anti anxiety medication I can have due to heart/arrhythmia issues. I’ve looked

Psychological and counselling support
My family has just had a very impactful experience, my son who is 22, had open heart surgery twice in the same month and we nearly lost him the second time around. He was in the hospital for 9 weeks all in total, but within that 9 weeks what he went through and what he saw day in day out, was patients

16-yo Daughter just diagnosed with ADHD
We now have the ADHD diagnosis I had suspected for some time. But the ADHD is alongside Depression. I'm feeling discouraged because over the years she has always resisted counseling, which we've tried several times (she struggles more than our other kids when things don't go her way), resists medication

ADHD support group in / near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho?
Hi all. My partner may have undiagnosed adult ADHD. I'm looking for resources and support groups near Coeur d'Alene (CDA). Ideally I'd like to meet and chat with people who might be able to share their insights and experiences. E.g. where can I find a good counseling service near CDA? Thanks!

struggling with Adenomyosis
Long post sorry in advance, I’m just struggling today and need some advice. Can anyone recommend an adenomyosis specialist? My consultant was a BSGE endo specialist so I had high hopes but since I was diagnosed in November after my laparoscopy he discharged me. He’s told me my adeno isn’t responsible

How to keep each other positive
We are now 5 weeks into our 8 week wait for another appointment prior to surgical sperm retrieval trial and the stress of waiting is taking its toll on us both, most recently my husband. I've always been the pessimist in our relationship but it seems recently I've had to try to keep him afloat. I

My first counselling session - not what I imagined
I finally picked up the courage to seek help, I thought talking to someone will enable me to move forward as I still don’t think I’m in a good place mentally after 7 weeks of finding out about our failed cycle. Firstly it was super disorganised, it took a lot for me to ask for help and get this session

I need advice. I overshared with my mother in law
She’s very concerned about our
marriage
, wants us to get
counseling
and I think wants to talk to him about it. I REGRET saying anything. I have so much anxiety about him being mad at me, and her worry that we’re in an unhappy marriage. She always tell me that I can talk to her about anything.
