Gluten-free diet
I’ve been told to try a gluten-free diet but most gluten free foods have rice flour in them which I can’t have either. What should I do?

My keto Easter treats
Thought I would post the Easter treats I've made to help me resist temptation. They are all low carb and sugar free, some turned out better than others, the walnut and brandy truffles taste wonderful, as do the hot cross buns. Haven't tried the cake or bunny or eggs yet. Happy Easter everyone x

Have a couple of questions I am hoping someone can help with. My husband (77) was diagnosed 1/14/21 with PCa; 4=5=9 and 5=4=9, grade 5. Six/12 cores, all left side malignant; all 6 right benign. PSA was 3.7 in 9/2019, 5.15 in 9/20, 8.18 in 12/20, and 10.43 before Degarelix injection 1/28/21. Last week

Update, after ending treatments
I posted about a month ago, soon after my husband decided to end all cancer treatments. I thought I'd post an update as some might find our experience helpful. We decided not to do any more imaging as it wouldn't really tell us anything that we don't already know: that the cancer is progressing rather

Asthma ruining my life
I am afraid to play sports due to worrying about dying of asthma attack. I take regular meds fostair, montelukast… peak flow is 800 but when I play sports during summer months my breathing is worse. I get breathless doing light exercise I normally run 10k in under 45mins can’t run no more due to pollen

Diarrhea after radiation
I'm having a recurrence 15 years after seeds and EBRT. The PSMA scan and a whole-body mpMRI seemed to indicate the only lesion on my T8 vertebra. So last month I had five fractions of proton beam therapy to that vertebra. For those who don't know, the T8 is very near the midpoint of the back, nowhere

Do any of you have intermittent ataxia episodes that come on only after eating a meal?
I believe I have gluten-sensitivity ataxia, but none of my three doctors (naturopath, general practitioner, kidney specialist) have heard of it, so am continuing a gluten-free diet. I had a test for gluten sensitivity a few years ago, which was negative; my naturopath told me the test showed I didn't

I am not able to stick to LCHF diet, At the same time, I don’t want to take insulin and tablets to bring down my T2 sugar levels. Is Stem Cell Therapy address my problem?

Switch to MART fostair from seretide
Having been on seretide 250mg for a good few years, as well as added in spiriva respimat, fexofenadine, montelukast and nasal spray (recent change to dymista), have been switched onto fostair 100/6 MART. According to my plan, its 2 puffs twice daily, plus an extra 4 as and when. This change was made

I have found my Peak Flow readings = 580 in 2008, 550 in 2011, 550 in 2014, 550 in 2020. I think these are good readings = only mild asthma?
Nurse thinks my asthma is getting worse - I think it's steady & Mild?

Hi I am now living in France from U.K. I have been on sera tide 500 x 2 puffs a day for years. For my asthma. I also have mild bronchiectasis. My lung capacity has gradually reduced over recent years. Peak flow used to be 250 but recently below 180. My doctor in France said seratide was old fashioned

Tsh close to zero but t3 and t4 normal on meds?
Hi there, My doctor added t3 about a month ago since my free t3 had been consistently low for over a year. She also lowered my synthroid. I went from about 100mcg synthroid daily to 85 mcg synthroid and 10mcg t3 (split into two doses of 5). Finally have more energy and less shortness of breath when exercising
