Sources and experiences of LDN
Hi again, Just one more sourcing question - does anyone have any recommendations of UK sources of low dose naltrexone? I would also love to hear of anyone's experiences of taking LDN. I have hashimoto's underactive thyroid and am also trying to conceive and have read that it could be v beneficial

How long can Asthma flares last?
Hi I’m in to my 5th week now with a tight chest and struggling to breathe. A&E couldn’t find anything untoward and GP could only offer stronger antihistamines and Montelukast which I have reluctantly started a few days ago. The worrying thing is that my peak flow isn’t too bad but I still have the tightness

T3 affects of different manufacturers
After many years on Teva 60mcgs daily I am trying to reduce the dose to 55mcgs due to increased bowel activity! The GP prescribed 2x20 Teva, 10 Morningside and 5 Viatris. I feel ok except that I have a burning sensation in my digestive system which would suggest an excipient in the new T3 may be an issue

Recently, it really flared up after a nasty respiratory virus that started about the 15th December. Had a steriods and antibiotics. Things didn't improve. January I had a call

Anyone Know About Silent Reflux
Following on from my experience of asthma flare up I'm wondering if like Cade in his post about breathing problems whilst exercising, if I could have silent reflux. It was shortness of breath that led me to seek medical treatment, and even though I had no wheezing or cough the hospital concluded it was

Gluten ataxia.
Just want to make it clear that having gluten ataxia and then going gluten free is not a cure. For many there is still no medication and only if you don't respond to a gluten free diet are you offered anything.A gluten free diet and a healthy eating approach along with regular exercise helps. Thyroid tests
I have Graves disease since 2007 and had thyroidectomy in 2019. I have felt fine for the last 4 years on levothyroxine (75mcg Monday to Saturday, 50mcg on Sundays). I've recently developed digestive issues with some indigestion and morning diarrhea or loose stool at best. Had FIT test which was negative

Hashimoto to Graves
Hi All, I have been lurking as a member for >8years following a diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I have been managed with varying doses of levothyroxine, follow a gluten-free diet and supplement with B12, Fe and Vit D oral sprays. Having gained weight during Covid, I decided to make a conscious

Feeling very unwell - do my blood results explain why? What to do next?
Hi Mid August My NDT was increased from 2.5 to 3 grains. By the last week in September I began to feel what I describe as a 'bit off' , these feelings come and go. My partner had covid , I tested negative a couple of times. I did have a bit of cough and sore throat but that lasted only a couple

Tapering too fast? Advice needed please
I have found this site invaluable and until now haven't had the confidence to post anything. But I have reached an all time low over the past week and really need your help. I have completed my bio today which gives background info - it is a long story though! I have copied some of the info into this

Proton Therapy timeline question
For those who have had proton therapy, what was your timeline? What period of time elapsed after you began ADT and had the simulation? And then, how long after that did the actual therapy begin? I've been reading and can't seem to determine a timeline, other than one guy wrote that he had the simulation

leg weakness after attack
Hi, I am a newbie, but had asthma for years and it is getting gradually worse. I have had maybe 3 severe attacks and the most recent has had me off work for nearly 2 weeks now. In the past I have carried on going in (to my detriment) you know that work ethic malarkey. This time I took the time
