Has anyone out there tried low dose Naltrexone for their RLS? My doctor is considering this as part of a long term rotation plan to manage dependence and augmentation. I haven’t found a lot of information yet, but interested in having as many options

I did try low dose naltrexone for about 2 months. it wasn't given to me directly for RLS but rather for neurological pain, but I was told it could help with RLS.
Unfortunately for me it did not seem to have much affect. But its definitely worth giving it a try. the documentation looks like it could be helpful for some.
I tried it quitea while ago. For 1/2-1 year. I was on oxycontin at the time, and took the LDN in the morning. I tried to reduce and stop the oxycontin, but no luck.
Sorry this is late, but my HwP has been on 4.5 mg LDN for about a year. I did not know it could help his RLS, or whatever he has as his neurologist thinks it something else. It does not help him. He was given it for pain management and told that it was used for PD. When starting, you must start slow. I looked at the post mentioned by ChrisColumbus and am considering lowering his dose a bit to 4 mg, but its such a tiny pill! BTW, it comes from a compounding pharmacy so I hope you have one near you. Anyway, good luck with trying it. I hope it works great!
