Low
mood
. Not sleeping. Not working. It’s all confusing as I slept before this accident. Slowly feeling depression coming in. Sorry it’s not the happiest post. The insomnia is the worst. I have slept when my T4 was 94 and T3 was 45 same ranges as above. I don’t know what is happening

Im taking it for both

Breathlessness
I’ve had a call from my cardiologist who has said my echo came back with good results. (Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair 18 months ago) Diagnosed with Heart Failure weeks ago. Slight MV leak). My peak flow readings are around 600. The Cardiologist said that he thought my breathlessness is likely

Test results
GP did some other tests last some week as I still feel rubbish (fatigue, hair loss, cold,
low
mood
etc etc) and I think these are the relevant ones - everything came back ‘normal’ so they won’t do anything: Serum ferritin 60 ug/L (range 13-150) Serum folate 7.5 ug/L (range 3.9-26.8) Serum vitamin B12

Low carb high fat
First post on here, and after feeling so poorly over the years and eating too much sugar, I finally had a light bulb moment and gave my head a good wobble, and thought I think I’m making myself worse continuously eating crap, I know it’s taken me years, I’m 63 years old 15 stone so I’ve been on this

Fun fact of the day
Prof. Henry Lardy was an American biochemist specializing in metabolism and dairy science (history does not record whether he also had an interest in pigs). I like to think that if he'd still been alive today, he would have published lots of papers on LCHF.

Peak flow readings
Good morning all. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Heart Failure and I’ve been asked to use a peak flow meter to check my lungs. Over the last week my average is around 575 (I’m a 6ft - 68 years old- male). I think this is ok and shows my breathlessness is caused by my Heart Failure. My question is

Almost a year and still no diagnosis, don't know what to do
Last year I started to have bouts of breathlessness which I've never had before (27m) this stemmed into coughing up sticky pale yellow strings or chunks, as gross as it sounds, since then I undertook a peak flow test, I took home a device, which was inconsistent, I was given both types of inhaler with

My keto Easter treats
Thought I would post the Easter treats I've made to help me resist temptation. They are all low carb and sugar free, some turned out better than others, the walnut and brandy truffles taste wonderful, as do the hot cross buns. Haven't tried the cake or bunny or eggs yet. Happy Easter everyone x
