Is it common to get chronic nose bleeds with aps?
Just wondering as my father has been getting nose bleeds constantly lately. They've tried to cauterize (no joy) they've put a camera up the nose to try and see where it's coming from can't see anything with camera. Last year his artery's were blocked so he needed stents as it caused a heart attack. I'm

Consultant Appointment
Hi my husband was diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis at the end of 2021. His last consultant appointment was the beginning of 2022. He finally has a consultant appointment this week. I'm compiling a list of questions to ask at his appointment as I feel as though we are in the dark with regards

37 week induction- success stories?
Hi ladies, after being told i would be induced at 39 weeks they now want to push this to 37 (next week!). Bubba is fine but small (4-8 centile) and they think there’s a risk with my low papp-a… although blood flow from placenta and fluid have been consistently fine so far. For some reason, I’ve found

good morning As you know I have recently upped my supplements to include vitamin d, b complex, k2, magnesium and selenium. I already take cod liver oil on top of my prescribed fluoxetine, Levo, cerazette (birth control) and loratadine(antihistamine). Can I take everything bar the Levo at the same time

Is it getting better?
9months ago I had Alt 90, normal ast, high bilirubin, low albumin and low protein, I stopped drinking immediately, worked on my diet to the best of my ability, drink coffee everyday and I exercise every morning.... The doctor never did further tests but since then I’ve been using milk thistle, dandelion

Doc says: "Cirrhosis? Yes. Food restrictions? No." So confused. Advice?
I have cirrhosis. Surgeon saw it in CT scan & really saw it during hernia surgery so no doubt about it. But Liver function normal at this point say tests. I want to find out the underlying cause so it can be addressed. I do not want to inadvertently cause any more damage to my liver with inattentive

Ultrasound
I got my ultrasound report back and was told I had fatty liver, on the report it says the liver is normal in size and diffusely echogenic. Anyone knows what this means when I googled it it mentions cirrhosis

Monitoring Hepatic Steatosis
I’ve recently had an MRI scan of the small bowel and an MRI scan of the pancreas, liver and gallbladder as part of ongoing investigations into gut problems. One of the observations was that I have hepatic steatosis and a fatty pancreas with a possibility of pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI) -

Sensitive, she is here 💕
My precious, perfect girl was safely delivered by C section last Friday and we were discharged after just one night in hospital. After all the pain we have been through (miscarriage of twins, cancelled FET, chemical pregnancy, failed FET), I still can’t believe she is real. We are absolutely in love

Considerations before a hysterectomy
My consultant who performed my laproscophy said I could have a hysterectomy 1 year after my c section. (Private) I had a tube removed and endometriosis removed in my last lap. I thought there would be other treatments to explore first?! I'm 35. Finished my struggle to get my kids. Am in constant
