I got my ultrasound report back and was told I had fatty liver, on the report it says the liver is normal in size and diffusely echogenic. Anyone knows what this means when I googled it it mentions cirrhosis

Hi Maco, I’d recommend you ring the BLT helpline. I’m sure they’ll know what it means
Please stop with the cirrhosis trumpet, while I knew what it, meant I Googled "diffusely echogenic liver ultrasound" and ALL the top results where for fatty liver before anything else. Cirrhosis was just MENTIONED as you said. The fact you even saw results for cirrhosis is to do more with you most likely googling it more than anything and the Google algorithm skewing the results for you.
