Is it getting better?

9months ago I had Alt 90, normal ast, high bilirubin, low albumin and low protein, I stopped drinking immediately, worked on my diet to the best of my ability, drink coffee everyday and I exercise every morning.... The doctor never did further tests but since then I’ve been using milk thistle, dandelion multivitamins , the trust is that I fear that I may have compensated cirrhosis due to symptoms I used to have like pain under the rib cage, yellow urine, itch that comes and goes and pale/watery stool, I have been checking my numbers since then and everything is back to normal except for bilirubin that stays a little bit high , but in recent days I feel like things are getting better or not so I’m not really sure because there’s something called compensated cirrhosis which of course doesn’t have no symptoms, but the new changes are (no more pain under the rib cage for over a month now ), itching has completely gone and often shows up for few days and go again but it’s almost as if it’s gone, my appetite has suddenly grown back up and I eat alot better, urine color isn’t that yellow anymore but still mildly yellow, stool is no longer watery and brown (normal) , headaches and fog are gone, I sleep normally although I realized I was sleep deprived due to my anxiety, all these good signs are supposed to make me feel better right ? But sometimes I wonder how I still lose a little bit of weight despite the fact that I’m eating well and using multivitamins to support that and I don’t know if this is wrong because literally check my body every minute , I feel like my arm muscles reduced a bit ( I might be wrong cuz my anxiety is not all gone ) , so my question is ? Has anyone experienced weight loss and reduced muscles without having cirrhosis?? I have never been jaundiced, never been swollen, never been admitted for any reason or complications so why am I still scared of cirrhosis? Why does google keep saying any reduction in muscle size is a symptom of end stage liver disease, all the health improvement I’ve had gave me a lot of peace of the weight loss and muscle loss is starting to throw me off ..... I hope I get some real positive answers ,thanks

May I ask you, has your doctor already explained the elevated normoblasts (NRBC) in your blood, or is it still being researched?

she said it’s not a cause for alarm as it’s not so high and will be back to normal

I am no doctor but from what you write you seem to be doing everything correctly so I would keep it up and stop stressing. And please write in paragraphs it is impossible to read these walls of words.

We are not doctors on here. If you are concerned go back and get checked out. I suspect everything will be fine though. By knocking alcohol on the head and eating healthily you are doing all the correct things to take pressure off your liver. It will improve your overall health. The one thing that’s ill advised is taking milk thistle. It’s not recommended and personally I’d leave well alone.

Firstly, don't touch Dr Google. Everyone is different and Google will have you at death's door.If you're feeling unwell I'd go back to the doc and let them re run tests. Try not to worry, some of these symptoms could point to other stuff too. You're doing all the good stuff so keep it up x
