TURP and Prostatectomy
I am looking at a prostatectomy, but I had a TURP 8 yrs ago. How does this change the risk factors and my potential quality of life for a prostatectomy? If I did radiation therapy, they would like me to have another TURP to remove some of the prostate that is growing into the bladder before starting

Burning groin stinging pain post c-section
I’m now 11 days post c section and particularly id say the last 4 or so days I’ve had a sort of intense burning pain and almost stinging too on my right groin area wrapping round to my inner thigh, it’s very painful and even when clothes brush against it , it hurts but also feels a bit numb, it’s hard

Change in Carcinoma
I had low dose brachytherapy in 2010 with seeds and success. My PSA started raising again in 2021. I opted for high dose brachytherapy and my PSA is 0.1. This year I had difficulty urinating and recently had a procedure similar to a TURP to remove tissue in my urethra near my prostate. This procedure

liver test results
I have not drank alcohol for 5 months now, managed to loss some weight. Had a US scan nov 22 and also back in 2016 both diagnosed a fatty liver. Blood results were doing down slowly but last test, last week GGT & alp went up. I have had flu last week .. do you think this could affect the liver function

3 weeks post C section
I gave birth just over three weeks ago by emergency C-section. I had a traumatic birth and then my baby lost a lot of weight and had to be admitted to the neo natal unit for two nights, and then we had to go back to hospital because I had high blood pressure. We are now back at home, the little one

#totallyconfused - flying with varices but no endoscopy planned for 12 months time
My partner has been through so many tests since end of March ‘23. He has been diagnosed with Cirrhosis Child-Pugh scoring A. Consultant now deciding on treatment for hepatitis strain which caused this. It’s not alcohol or fatty liver cause and he is at lower end BMI for his height and is abstinent

Is this a serious warning sign?
Hi, just want some advice really as not sure what to do. My partner had Alcoholic Hepatitis just over 2 years ago and has continued to drink in excess of 10 beers a day. In the last few days the whites of his eyes have turned yellow and he has black poo. He has lost a lot of weight and doesn't eat

I just wanted to share that my little miracle IVF baby arrived at 38+2.
