Am getting concerned about my husband - he had a liver transplant in 2017 due to NASH cirrhosis and suffers from COPD, Asthma and Diabetes Type 2.
He has now tested positive for Covid for 60 days and has had 1 x anti viral medication from St Thomas, 4 x antibiotics, 3 x steroids and remains unwell.
Is there anything else I can or should do?
Has anyone else had it for this long and what did you do?
Thanks you all so much
Kim

Hi Kim. If that were me, I'd either ring 111 for advice or see your gp again. My motto is "when in doubt, check it out". 60 days is a long time. I would get this checked again. Try not to worry too much. Best wishes Golly x
Hi, I don’t know St Thomas’s hospital at all, but I keep seeing research being done at Addenbrooke’s which is also a transplant centre e.g. cuh.nhs.uk/news/hundreds-to...
I’m just wondering if it might be worth asking them for advice? I don’t know if you can go direct to the Covid or transplant teams there, or if you’d need a referral from your husbands consultant.
