Pain clinic
He decided that an infusion of
lidocaine
will help reduce the pain. He has said it won't take it away, but it will ease and make it more bearable. It will be done in the next six to eight weeks and i will go in as a day patient. This morning i went to the drs for my neck as it has been very sore.

Lidocaine Patches
I have
Lidocaine
Patches I'm able to purchase at a Senior/Disabled Discount. The discount has expired, now they're $77 a box. i've been told that they can be sold for much more, so this tip may be of limited value. Insurance will pay for
Lidocaine
Gel, but usually not the Patches.

Hard goitre
They give you
lidocaine
so you don't feel much. Thing is it is now Friday and my voice is like a frog and I almost strangled 3 times since then. Voice gets better as day goes one and worse as evening get here. They did do it twice so maybe it is just that, and it is cold season.

Lidocaine Patch Effectiveness for Neuropathic Pain
Hi, My Pain Consultant has asked my GP to prescribe
Lidocaine
Patches for me to try, to help with my left pelvis Neuropathic Pain. I am sceptical as my pain is deep in my left pelvis and I see this patch as a numbing plaster than a treatment for Neuropathic Pain.

I am seeing the urologist tmw at an emergency appt to discuss having
lidocaine
instilled into the bladder although this now looks unlikely as I have been treated for a urinary infection since Monday.

Duloxetine for Postherpetic Neuralgia
Also use
lidocaine
patches which can take the edge off. I have also been advised by my consultant to look into Botox but understand this would have to be done privately - has anyone tried with success ? No idea what this would cost.

10 day inpatient lidocaine infusion
Next month I will be going into hospital for a continuous 10 day
lidocaine
infusion. I cannot find much literature about this as it seems most of the time this is done as a day case procedure. Has anyone here had this procedure. I really would appreciate any feedback.

Lidocaine Infusion-two weeks on.....
Well everyone, despite my initial excitement, it was not to be. I tried to talk myself into believing that it had worked. But the truth is, it hasn't. I've been so miserable, but, as you all know, we can't let these things knock us out. So I've picked myself up and I'm forcing a smile on my face and

News Just In.....
So with the

infusion a wash out I'm back on the hospital treadmill to see what can be done. I am reluctant to have any more spinal surgery, not least because I have so much scar tissue that the last time they had to go in through my tummy.

Lidocaine Infusion - one week on
You guys on here are simply the best. Your posts have literature dragged me through this last week. I've been feeling most peculiar, my brain was all bubbly, I had a migraine, kept falling asleep and so on. But today, today, I've woken up and...........*whisper* the pain is less!! I'm frightened to say

Lidocaine Infusion
Come Monday at 7 in the morning I'm having a
lidocaine
infusion. My pain consultant thinks it's worth a try, even though it's not actually licensed for neuropathic pain. I take so much morphine, in both tablet and liquid form, that she's amazed I'm not dead!

Lidocaine Infusion-the results so far
The
lidocaine
drip made me feel sleepy and I was slurring my words. I had tingling in my lips and tongue and bad spasms in my right leg. But they weren't painful or unbearable. I was very sleepy, I fell asleep on the sofa once I got home.
