So with the
lidocaine
infusion a wash out I'm back on the hospital treadmill to see what can be done. I am reluctant to have any more spinal surgery, not least because I have so much scar tissue that the last time they had to go in through my tummy.

Lidocaine Infusion - one week on
You guys on here are simply the best. Your posts have literature dragged me through this last week. I've been feeling most peculiar, my brain was all bubbly, I had a migraine, kept falling asleep and so on. But today, today, I've woken up and...........*whisper* the pain is less!! I'm frightened to say

Lidocaine Infusion
Come Monday at 7 in the morning I'm having a
lidocaine
infusion. My pain consultant thinks it's worth a try, even though it's not actually licensed for neuropathic pain. I take so much morphine, in both tablet and liquid form, that she's amazed I'm not dead!

The
lidocaine
drip made me feel sleepy and I was slurring my words. I had tingling in my lips and tongue and bad spasms in my right leg. But they weren't painful or unbearable. I was very sleepy, I fell asleep on the sofa once I got home.

Hi all I have had HMB from birth and FMS for 23 yrs. I have had every pain relief going to the point now I'm on 300mg morphine per day.
I am now going to have the
lidocaine
intravenous infusion as the last resort in 2 wks. Again it's not 100% or guaranteed to work at all but I am prepared to try anything to try and stop at least part or if not all of the pain disabling conditions.

Unsure if PNE/PN or Vulvadynia/ Vaginismus, need help to determine and to get help
I agreed that i had this yet wanted pain relief for my clitordynia ( gyno recommend
lidocaine
cream which helps) but i noticed the pain was differing from a shooting pain to more a feeling or irritation/ itchy feeling swell as slight pain when urinating as well as burning/hot sensation around my vagina

Does anyone have experience of deep brain stimulation used for SUNCT?
I have never seen attacks as bad as the ones he is getting (he is 80 years old), since admission he has been on IV
Lidocaine
but this does not appear to be touching them. They have tried him on Duloxetine but this was causing concerning results on his ECG so it was stopped.

Lidocaine IV Infusion Questions from New User. Did you get relief? How long did it last? After it wore off was the pain MUCH worse?
Hi I am new here to the forum and found it searching for information on the
Lidocaine
Infusion for chronic pain. Thank you in advance for allowing me to join and for sharing your experiences. I had my first (and probably last!) infusion on April 30.

I also use
Lidocaine
patches which help to reduce surface pain and irritation, if appropriate for you? However these need to come from your pain clinic, as your GP will not be allowed to Rx them (expensive).

Sick & tired of being sick and tired!
I'm waiting on a
lidocaine
infusion or possibly ketamine. Has anyone had either of these and did they work? Any drawbacks?
