Neuropathy Relief at Night
I used to get around the pain quite easily by taking the following . 5mg oxycodone, (sometimes 10mg),
lidocaine
5% cream, Lyrica ( 400mg) I could escape the pain entirely or go from a 9 down to a 2 in a couple hours. I slept at night.

Lidocaine Infusion :)
I had my first
lidocaine
infusion today. I suffer facial pain and nerve pain in my trigeminal nerve following an accident last year. I have reactions to anti convulsant medication which normally helps this condition. After the worst week yet, my pain clinic moved my infusion forward.

Hi all, I have chronic migraines after viral meningitis three years ago. I am taking propranolol, ampitryptaline daily and twice a week I take sumitriptan for the migraines. I am also on round 2 of botox from neurologist. The first three months after botox injections went ok, I had the middle month

My Pacemaker experience
Anyway after several shots of
lidocaine
and some morphine she inserted a long needle and a tube between my ribs. The tube went into a container with sterile solution and soon bubbles from the air were going through the solution.

Intravenous lidocaine therapy
My pain consultant is going to try intravenous
lidocaine
therapy but I will have to wait until the end of July before they can start this. Has anybody had this? What was your experience?

Is there a link between fibromalgia and underactive thyroid ??
Eventually I was referred to pain clinic they put me on Gabapentin, etoricoxib, nortriptyline, and
lidocaine
plasters, the pain clinic reported to my gp that I was presenting muscle pain as well as neuropathic pain.

Come on I'm only 55 yrs young, DVT- Sub Massive Bi-Lateral Pulmonary Embolus - now Fibromyalgia.
she said "I had so many symptoms of all over deep muscular aches & pains, they had to be psychosomatic and added in a weak attempt to empathise, apparently this is a common occurrence following a near death experience " I should keep active - lose weight, all rather difficult with reduced mobility,

Practical Pain Relief for Painful Sex Required
I also read that some women have used
Lidocaine
to numb some of the entrance area but again, no good for deep tissue pain. Extra lubrication isn't enough and I need some further practical advice and recommendations.

Post herpetic neuropathy
I wasn't going mad , I wasn't making my pain up . my treatment to stop the nerve pain was
lidocaine
patches . They are amazing . They anaethetise the nerves over a 12 hour period. and then the patches are removed for 12 hours.

Medications are Gabapentine, tramadol, paracetamol, diclophenac suppositories that last 18 hours, diazepam and
lidocaine
patches for my back. I have been told there is nothing else they can give me so I have to build my life around my pain. If I have to walk a distance I use a wheelchair.

5% Lidocaine Lidoderm Patches
I've tried the
Lidocaine
Gel topically on my legs No. Someone posted that
Lidocaine
cream worked well I haven't tried it yet I've been told the NHS won't prescribe them for RLS either. Neither will Medicaid Medicare. My patches by Enda Pharmaceuticals are prescription only.
