Viral Meningitis 72 year old father
My dad fell unresponsive over 2 weeks ago. Once in the hospital they determined he had viral meningitis. Lots of antibiotics and 2 weeks later he is extremely weak, won’t eat, and he is confused and agitated. He struggles to know who we are (my mom, brother, grandkids, etc) and has little to no

New here with new tip that works for me
My partner is a medical bio-chemical scientist. For me, he makes a liquid form of magnesium and a spray that has something called DMSO in it - it takes the magnesium through my skin. I see that people here talk about taking magnesium by mouth but I've found this works better for me. I rub them on my

Does any of you know what is wrong with me?
I am 20 years old, since I was 15 years old I have been having cognitive problems, I don't understand what the characters in movies and tv shows say, and I can't understand what I read, I already went to see a neurologist and they did a CT scan of my head and an EEG, and the results were normal, they

Cold Sores
I was diagnosed in 2010 with CLL and on W&W. I am now troubled with persistant cold sores on my nose or mouth. Tried the usual creams but still come back. Does any one have the same problem?

27 days today
Hallo! Just a quick catch up on the no smoking. It’s 27 days today and I’m doing okay. Something I have had which is getting better was a sore mouth after giving up .... sore gums, ulcers, sensitive teeth. I read that this is really normal and the blood flow coming back etc. It has got heaps better

This has helped my restless legs
Because of the exorbitant price of the relaxis pad, I came up with my own version that works pretty good. I bought a foam back roller on Amazon ($26 USD) that vibrates. I place it at the foot of my bed under the blankets and I press my feet against it which sends gentle vibrations up my legs helping

RLS LDN NORCO KRATOM B-12 SHOTS AND GETTING VEINS COLLAPSED...
LDN and Norco...was doing six norco a day...took LDN with it and it made the pain with RLS a hundred times worse. The LDN partially blocks the opiod receptors...and when the natural endorphins build up pressure where the natural endorphins push themselves in the cell and you get pain relief. Now Norco

Shingles with your CTD anyone?
Hi all, It's been ages since I've been able to post. Life seemed to get hit with a bomb. Things are still not right yet, but I'm finding ways to pull focus back from only the terrible. But the second you start to get the balance (or think you do), another hit happens. This time -- Shingles! I was

Need suggestion QUICK
Dr B put me on methadone 5mg for my RLS. I have back, neck and shoulder damage/issues we didnt get a chance to discuss. My back, hip and leg are acting up for 3 wks now. The methadone doesnt help enough. AND I'm headed to a EMG-nerve test (painful, stick electrodes in an inch or two to measure nerve)

DESPERATE
I have RLS for which I take Ropinirole, Clonazepam, and Gabapentin. I went into augmentation and my doctor said to take less Ropinirole which I did with some success . I have always had trouble sleeping and I developed insomnia . I was and still am sleep walking , falling, and over eating at night.

Switch from Ropinirole to Rotigotine
Thanks to everyone who replied to my post about changing from Ropinirole to Rotigotine patches. There was some very useful information and experiences from everyone and good advice. I am considering weaning myself of Ropinirole as it looks like the general view is you should not just switch from one

So, i saw the neuro today. Went through my whole speech about the legs, etc. Told him the requip basically sucked, made my legs worse, caused insomnia and repetitive thoughts. So....he puts me on.. mirapex. W.T.F?? I flat out asked about methadone and he said, and i quote, "I don't prescribe methadone

Restless legs relieved.
Hi, Hello, Re: program on Channel 5, Tuesday 23 July 2019, 10:15 pm, relating to restless Legs Syndrome (RLS). I’m 87 years old, a retired engineer. I could empathise with all the people on the program, who suffered from the condition. And that’s because I’ve had RLS for more years than I care to
