My
LDL
cholesterol is too high and so is my blood pressure, and my doctor is sure to say to me stop eating all those fatty foods and dairy products. The problem with that is that I don't eat any of the food traditionally known to raise cholesterol.

High Cholesterol diagnosis
I have been told my
LDL
Cholesterol is at present 2 times what it should be. The doctor advised taking 10 mg Simvastin or Ezetimibe. I am currently refusing this, as I have heard so much bad stuff about statins.

If trigs are lowest ever by
LDL
and total cholesterol are high does this mean that despite the figures, this is a good result as VLDL in
LDL
is actually also very low?

Marked improvement
Has anyone else had a marked improvement in hgb and platelets in a month period without treatment? My numbers trending downward for 3 years but most recent data had hgb going from 9.5 to 11.2 and platelets from 109 to 143. B2m and ldh still going up. Wbc stable at 190. I know probably just one day

Blood results
This may not be related to thyroid but due to the advise given from my last post (fainting or feeling faint) my bloods were taken for analysis. One of the results is LDH which Which I haven't a clue about. The range is 120 - 250 my result was 587. Is this anything to worry about?

Low serum free thyroxine level is correlated with lipid profile in depressive patients with suicide attempt
For the other biochemical factors levels (albumin, total bilrubin, uric acid, HDL,
LDL
, hs-CRP, FT3, and TSH), there were no significant differences between suicide attempters and non-suicide attempters.

High cholesterol
This is my first post. I am 32 years old and I have hypothyroidism too. I was initially found to have high cholesterol back in 2016. My HDL level was 5.8 (<5.0) I have also been getting white plaques of skin around my eyes, the nurse said that is indicative of high cholesterol and I have had those since
