Test results what do they mean? Have gone online so have previous results when I was complaining of fatigue, confusion over last 5 years...
Felt fairly rubbish over the last 2 months- feeling sleepy if sat back unless using the PC, hence watch TV on a night and o stuff on PC otherwise I would drop off, or reach for something to eat to keep me awake! Hence the expanded waistline.... Appreciate your comments - is it the thyroid, B12, or

Hi Just done the repeat blood test for thyroid and as I asked why my B12 was so high they are retesting B12 in case of a mistake in the lab. (I was expecting a low B12, as my sister has B12 injections, she is hypothyroid, Hashimotos and has MS. Mum and auntie also the hypothyroid condition. I don't

What I want for Christmas
Today the inevitable question came around, "Dad, what you want for Christmas?" The off the cuff reply was a bottle of whisky. My favourite tipple of old is Highland Park, and I have even been to distillery. But now I have thought about it, and I have changed my mind. I want my family to sit down

Prework FET, postwork FET - Positive result (warning)
Ladies, I thought I’d share with you our journey so far.. I did a lot of research after our failed IUI and IVF. I wanted to make sure that the next round we do, will be the last. The first step for me was I had to eliminate alcohol, caffeine and sugar from my diet for at least 2-3 months before FET

Optimal Vitamin C For Teens
Good Evening Dear Members, Some of you already know me. I have posted a couple of days ago regarding my daughter who has a nodule on her thyroid and our options to treat it. I have another question. If she has problems with absorption and if I wanted to give her some vitamin C, what is an optimal dose

I have been diagnosed with CSCR
Couple of weeks back I had been diagnosed with a fluid between macular and retina. My doctor did OCT of my left eye and prescribed Nevanc eye drops and Vit C tablets. I am wondering that is it the right treatment i am going through or there is the best treatment available without any side effects?

Reducing Inflammation...and sleep
In this interesting article giving tips on reducing inflammation, it mentions a study that actually proves that "bad sleep triggers a range of inflammatory markers to increase, including C-reactive protein (CRP)" and that "Quality sleep is an essential component of any plan to lower inflammation." https
