Is anyone familiar with VitaminQuick.com in the U.S.?
I know that most members on the forum are are located in the U.K., but for those of us in the U.S., it would be great to be able to buy B12 injectables locally. I've just learned about this website, located in Florida, U.S., which offers B12, B complex and Vitamin C injections. Their prices seem good

Vitamin B12 is 365 (normal range 181-910), but my Serum Folate is 5.1 (should be >5.4). My Serum Ferratin was 28ug( (normal 10-291). What does this mean please, Is my B12 OK, and if so why is My Folate low? I want to know how best/what to supplement. Someone mentioned on the Thyroid forum that I may

Can anyone explain this to me?
As I have written before my approach to my cancer is maybe a little unconventional. Here is what I am doing: 1. Vitamin C intravenously twice a week 75 measurement. 2. Far infra red saunas twice a week. 3. One half hour of oxygen while working out twice a week. 4. Chanting - killing my cancer, killing

Taking iron for RLS; Requip better than Mirapex?
I'm a newer member, but have had RLS for about 30 years. My GP agrees with daily iron supplements that I take with Vitamin C (per information I read on this forum). My ferritin level is 76 and I have learned from this group that it needs to be 100. So I feel like I am making progress to treat the RLS

Preventing colds??
Hi all, yesterday I felt I was getting a cold, today I am not so sure, thank goodness. These days I dread them. I don’t take things like vitamin c or zink and such, but maybe I have got that wrong and it is worth doing? Obviously I do my best to avoid getting colds. What do the rest of you do? I welcome

Stop taking vitamins before blood tests?
Hello! I'm new here. I've not been diagnosed, but I have many, many symptoms, so going to ask GP to investigate. I may have had thyroid tests done before as part of routine blood tests, so will ask for previous results when I go. I was wondering if I should stop taking vitamins before having blood tests

Impact of nutritional status on the prognosis of patients with metastatic hormone-naïve prostate cancer
New study from Japan. Interesting to note non-PCa tests that may affect mortality. "The baseline GNRI [Geriatric Nutritional Risk Index] was calculated using serum albumin level and body mass index." There are now countless PCa studies that report an association between high BMI [body mass index] & poorer

Slowly losing hope that my period will ever arrive 😩
It’s now 2 weeks late and counting with not even the faintest bit of spotting. I’ve googled ways to induce it and tried all the reasonable ones (don’t really fancy overdosing on vitamin C for 10 days-why would that even work?). I don’t feel that stressed and I’m keeping busy with work and dog sitting

Is the levodopa in sinement any different then the levodopa in mucuna?
This may be a stupid question but Is the levodopa in sinement any different then the levodopa in mucuna? one synthetic vs one natural? the levodopa crosses the blood brain barrier with inclusion of carbidopa and the levodopa in mucuna has nothing aiding this transfer thus less reaches the brain (unless

An Ickle Surprise...
Hi everyone, Like many of you, I have suffered this RLS curse for getting on for 30 years of which the last 20 years have been tough. Watery smiles and sympathetic shrugs from doctors didn't lead me anywhere and I was stuck with my best "fix" of paddling in cold water two or three times a night to buy

Found this article on healthy eating forum so thought I would pass it on
This article ("What Happens if You Eat Raw Onions Every Day"), was published originally on the FoodPrevent.com website. The article explains how eating a raw onion a day can help with certain health conditions (cardiovascular health, type 2 Diabetes, lower cancer risks, etc.). Please see below for more
