Advice on T3/T4 combo bloods
Hi all Appreciate your thoughts on my blood results. I feel like there’s been a slight improvement in my general fatigue but my pins and needles has returned albeit not as bad. I think also I am slightly feeling hypo towards the end of my first dose in the morning of T3. But my blood results look

Summer fun in a Bowl! 😋❤️☀️🌻🌺
It has been hot in Southern California and I can’t believe I have to turn on my central air already. 😅 Açaí fruit bowl is one of my favorite summer time treats. 😋 Because it is still high on sugar so what I do is split in half of the açaí berry portion and mix with my oatmeal and chia seeds. Also,

Hi...I'm on NDT now. 9 days. I had to switch to an old Armour script I tried 16 mo ago. The Levoxyl T4 I took, 16 days. (did wait until I couldn't stand reactions anymore, could not function at all last few days) Felt better on this second try of Armour. I got a newer prescription, the 5th day. I have

Am I over-medicated or ?
Currently taking 2 x Thro Active 2 by Regenerative Nutrition. Each tablet supposedly contains 75mg desiccated whole raw porcine thyroid gland but they do not provide a T4/T3 breakdown. Previously taken 2-2.25 grains Nature Throid before their potency then supply issues. Latest bloods after taking

Update on ongoing symptoms
I got a call from my GP, she has requested I have my thyroid down again, T4 and T3 as well as Vitamin D. I’ve had my bloods taken yesterday and was that a chore, the veins were very slow at giving anything despite lots of water taken and my arm being squeezed. They changed arms and veins on slow mo

Blood results help
Hi, I have recently had these private blood tests with Medichecks and wonder if anyone could give their opinion. I currently take 125 levothyroxine daily, reduced from 150 as requested by my doctor, eight weeks ago. I don't feel too bad but still have some symptoms, constipation, unable to loose weight

Supplement recommendations refused medication
Hi folks, I saw a private endocrinologist with hopes that I would manage to get medication, unfortunately she has said I do not need to be medicated, I really don’t want to self source that would be my last resort. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any supplements that could help with hair loss,

Testosterone & Covid-19
New study below [1] [2] When the pandemic began, it was quickly noted that a disproportionate number of men were dying from it. Made sense, since women mount a stronger immune response than me with high-normal testosterone [T]. And then the Italian study came out in May (2020) [3]: "Our data suggest

Tingling feet
I’ve been experiencing tingling feet that feels like a small charge of electricity. It started a week ago. I was on T4 150 mg and T3 20mg but reduced the T3 to 5mg 3 months ago. I was finding the T3 increased my appetite too much and felt hungry all the time! Since the reduction I feel a little more

High ferritin compromises t4 to t3 conversion
I’m having my telephone consultation today, first time in 12 months with the actual consultant. So I don’t make an absolute fool of myself, he’s already annoyed with me because I’ve insisted on levo increases via the nurse, now on 125mcg, can someone confirm high ferritin can compromise t4 to t3 conversion

PCa and macular degeneration
I suspect I'm not the only one here with Stage 4 PCa and beginning age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Most ophthalmologists recommend that folks with AMD take the AREDS2 supplements, which were shown in NIH trials to slow AMD progression in some cases. FYI, the AREDS2 formula is: 500 mg vitamin

Remedies for Parkinson's constipation
This subject comes up a lot, so I figured it would be useful to post our collective wisdom in one place as a reference. As usual – what works for one may not work for another. So members of our club are invited to also post your remedies in the comments.

Two weeks on folic acid and feeling worse. Is this normal?
Hey, I was wondering if anyone experienced feeling worse when taking folic acid for deficiency? Currently two weeks in and I feel so weak. Also taking B12 supplement, vitamin C & D. I would persevere if knowing at some point I’ll feel better, just concerned that I’m feeling worse.
