I'm just curious which supplements you take.

When I open my kitchen cupboard I see:

Multivitamine, Vitamin C, Iron, Fish Oil, Vitamin D3, Cascara sagrada (laxative), Scutellaria ('anti' histamine), bromelain (digestion), Betaine and pepsine (digestion), quercitine (inflamation), 5-htp, Rhodiola (stress, amongst others).

Good question. At present I take Alflorex probiotics, Multivitamins, fish oil, mastic gum + slippery elm + DGL (licorice).

None! I take as little of anything that I can. I only take betablockers for high blood pressure and nothing else apart from the odd paracetamol along the way.

How long have you got?! Magnesium, co q10, Vit c, Vit D3, B12, B complex, Glucosamine. Can’t think of anymore at the moment.

Linaclotide (medication), Alforex probiotic, Calcium Citrate with Vit D3 (due to lack of dairy), Potassium Iodide (since no dairy and on days I don't eat fish - you can only get Iodine from dairy and fish), Ginger (for motility) & Optifibre. I only take nutrient supplements where I know I will be deficient in relation to my diet. Ideally you want to get as many nutrients from foods as possible rather than supplementing. I used to take a load more than this until I read studies that taking some nutrients in raw form and in too high doses may have unintended consequences. Your body has evolved over thousands of years to extract nutrients from foods.

For IBS and digestive system, I take Psyllium Husk, Ginger, & Green Tea. But I also take others such as Vitamin C, Vitamin D, multi-vitamins, Saw Palmetto, high strength fish oil, & Glucosamine.
