Supplements during Covid
Hi Is it wise to take supplements as suggested widely by the general public as a means of providing immunity because of covid 19.? Its concerning since immunosuppressants are doing the opposite. I think 🤔 I know of people loading up on zinc, vitamin C & D, etc. I'm just on my regular multivitamin

Timing of vitamins
This was an interesting article. I began taking Vitamin D3 and co-factors after joining this site, as well as a B complex and C. After reading this article I changed my pill box around a little, moving the Vitamin C to bedtime. I had no idea it would prevent absorption of Vitamin B12. I knew about

Blood tests = Can of Worms. Anaemia or Hyperthyroidism? B12 & Serum Folate too low or OK? Other results all over the place! Any ideas?
Hi All, I have no idea what any of this means, but even I know some of it looks skewiffy! A couple of the results were flagged by the test itself; these are RDW and MCHC which may relate to thyroid function. Also the Serum Folate and B12 look a bit low so may be affecting my thyroid too. Are you able

Blood test results. Help please.
After two days of chasing round in ever decreasing circles I've finally managed to obtain a copy of my last blood test results. As you all suspected, the only thyroid test was TSH. These bloods were taken at 1:40pm after breakfast, coffee, and lunch. No one mentioned needing to have them taken first

I am not sure whether it was the consequence of my application of reverse psychology or my-on the whole-affable GP suddenly having an epiphany, but the last couple of telephone consultations that I’ve had, have been quite constructive. I did however have to collect all the toys that were left littered

Vitamin C supplement whilst self medicating with hydroxocobalamin and methyl. Any affects
Hiya, Does anyone know if Vitamin C supplement affects B12 IM injections of hydroxocobalamin and methylcobalamin? I’m self medicating these on alternate days. I don’t have pernicious anaemia, I had surgical removal of lower ileum 15 years ago and am on NHS waiting list for neurologist.
