Group Therapy #2
So i went to my second group therapy. It went well, know seemed to be paying much attention to my body language (like I'm afraid of) no one seemed to see me see them carrying on and being themselves. (hyper focusing on them). But the one thing I cant stop from happening is hearing background sounds such

Update on me
Before I go to visit Ralph this morning, thought I'd write a bit about me. I rang this morning to see how his first night was, he'd vomited a little which she said was due to the stress of the move, but then he was fine and slept well. Last night was the first decent sleep I've had since his operation

The Brightwell
I heard about The Brightwell from a friend. It's a centre for neurological and physical recovery and I aim to take my chap for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). Has anyone else tried anything like this for anoxic brain injury?

Tips for knee pain at 68
Hi everyone, I'm Lyndon. I Woke up Saturday morning with a horrible surprise - knee pain. It's centered on the front left side of my right knee, a dull ache that's been keeping me up at night and making it tough to move around. At 68, I've had my fair share of aches and pains, but this is new territory

I turned 47 yesterday, and I've never bothered about aging before but today I feel sad and old and ugly.
I've been in remission from severe MDD for over 3 years. I had minor bouts when younger but I developed peripartum depression with my last child and it lasted 4 1/2 years. I was hospitalized 10 times, tried 16 different medications, ECT, ketamine, TMS. It was a horrific time of my life and I never want

Is there any reason to choose IMRT over proton therapy for whole pelvic treatment if both are covered by insurance?
I understand that both treatments are comparable in terms of toxicity and cure rate, but a radiation oncologist mentioned that proton therapy may carry a lower risk of secondary cancers 30-40 years down the line, making it a more logical option for me. Assuming both treatments are equally covered by

What a difference
Been a good day for him so far. He said he had a rough night coughing. He was in his chair dressed when I got there. Physio told him off and said you don't need the hoist now, use the pulley to get up and in the chair.Physio and speech therapist came to put tiny camera up his nose to look down his throat

Incontinence - A major problem
I have had Parkinson's since the spring of 2014. I had my first major fall (any fall that requires a trip to the ER) in Oct. of 2018, and I have gone downhill since that night. The Parkinson's symptom that's keeping me from leading a normal life is a freezing gait, although I do have overall tightness

Had a STEMI 12 days ago, Iāll be 56 next month. Got a Stent inserted and now vegetating. Sorry recovering at home. Max walk Iāve done is 1 mile today. Going to try a couple miles tomorrow. my question is, when did the golfers get back golfing? Did you buggy for a bit or walk a few holes ect. Cheers

A question for anyone who built a red light therapy helmet/hat.
Hello. Iām interested in building a red light therapy hat. But Iām having trouble finding a source for 670nm and 810nm led strips. I was wondering if anyone who has built a hat using these specific wavelengths could share a link to where they purchased them. Thank you.
