RP, Salvage Radiation with Ulcerative Colitis
After three years of having an undetectable PSA, I am now detectable at 0.1. Is there anyone in the group that has had a RP, salvage radiation, and also has ulcerative coilotis? I am in that place now, and the radiation oncologist does not want to perform salvage radiation because they can’t install

Lupus and Perimenopause - Doctor
Does anyone have a recommendation for a rheumatologist that has a good understanding of HRT, peri and menopause? I am desperately looking for a consultant who can help me with all of this. My Lupus (partial) diagnosis was made a year ago and when I mentioned my perimenopause symptoms I was dismissed

Female Hormone Blood Tests and Testosterone Gel Question.
I've been weighing up the merits of asking for some testosterone gel on NHS. I didnt want to proceed without knowing my female hormone status so I carried out a Randox health home test last week. I already take HRT in tablet form, my results seem ok. My testosterone is in range but looks low, ditto

Decioher .93 - results said Abiraterone was effective. Can people who use this enlighten me?
Husbands urology practice does surgery, radiation, ADT but does not list Abiraterone. Their website says they will refer us out if needing chemo. Thoughts?

Scientists working to understand why men with prostate cancer are at higher risk of Alzheimer's

Alendronic acid and mental health
Morning all, I was wondering if anyone else experiences a surge in anxiety symptoms on the day they take AA. I definitely feel my mood nose diving in the day when I take it. The next day I feel weak and exhausted. Then gradually better until the next week. I am speaking to my GP later on today. I have

ECT? Keen for peoples lived experiences
I’ve been referred for ECT and keen to hear from people who’ve had the treatment or in the process and how it was/is for you. The overall result - good bad or neutral? If there’s any good or bad things you experienced. Any tips? Would you do it again if needed? Any feedback would be gratefully

Good news after SBRT
My last PSMA pet showed an 8mm prostate tumor in my left lung. My PSA before the radiation was 1.06. 2 weeks after radiation the PSA is <.06. I'm seeing my MO tomorrow to see if he will continue to hold off on ADT. Any suggestion/recommendations? Thanks

Why is my PSA so low?
For about 9 years after my last HIFU, my PSA hovered in the 1.0 - 2.0 range, and testosterone around 200 or so. That's what they were in July 2023. But in January 2024, PSA plunged to 0.248 (T wasn't measured then). In early March, PSA continued down to 0.148, and testosterone crashed to 60, and free
