MUA after Total knee replacement
I had TKR on 6th May this year and had physio every week at the hospital, but my knee wouldn't bend more that 73% and I couldn't straighten my leg which made walking difficult and painful. My consultant gave me Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) on 22nd June and although painful I had to use a Continuous

Here for my husband
Hello! My husband suffered a massive heart attack in April 2016, which was brought on by radiotherapy treatment he received for breast cancer in the previous October. He's now got three stents fitted, and he had a defibrillator fitted in March this year. He was admitted to hospital in April this year

I am very interested to know as it is now 6 years gone and my pain is constant, even my Amitriptyline, Tramadol & Paracetamol are

Retested - any help with results appreciated
Hi, Many thanks for previous comments. I have now had some further blood tests done and the results are as follows: Serum Ferritin 108 ng/mL Normal range: 11-307ng/mL comment on my file: Ferritin levels may be elevated through mechanisms not, reflective of iron status eg inflammatory

GP visit.....got to have tests ❓ Fibro
Well saw a different Dr yesterday...explained my symptoms and the fact that mum has Fibromyalgia. He suggested I have blood tests so could see what happening. Is it osteoarthritis...I have just had knee replacement and other needs doing...or could it be something else...RA....thyroid...etc. He even suggested

My first time ...
I'm 66, recently retired, but find myself more energetic and enthusiastic since I stopped working. I've had osteoarthritis for about 10 years, I've had both hips replaced and am on the waiting list for a full knee replacement. Recently referred to a rheumatologist, I find myself now with psoriatic

My Yorkie carer
My Yorkie has not left my side since my return from hospital following knee replacement op. She climbed as high onto me the other day...and wanted to lick me. Not too sure of the crutches...she jumped back...but is okay now. I have returned her care by giving her a back massage...she purrs like a cat

Should I have the endoscopy and biopsy?
Hi, all. I am new to this forum. It's a weird and whacky road I have been on, yet after my thyroid meds did not seem to be working, I was referred to an endocrinologist. He did a myriad of tests, one which included the serum test for celiac disease. My results were IGg=35 and IGa= 33. I'm told
