What a week! 😴
This week has been crazy! I returned to work this week after my half term and I really just didn’t want to go back. I hate the summer term- teachers out there you know what I’m talking about! I’m actually happy we haven’t started treatment as I really don’t think it would have been possible or fair to

I've been on rubaca a parp inhibitor for nine months with all ca 125's 10 or under. I need a knee replacement as I am bone on bone. Has anyone had surgery while taking this drug?

Prednisolone
I am taking 30mg of Prednisolone. Hoping to drop down. My face is like a space hopper and I’m having hot flushes. I need knee replacements and all of a sudden the pain in them has got worse. Plus my hands are shaking like a Parkinson Victim. Will this cease?

Has Rebma posted lately? I haven’t seen anything from her and I myself have taken a break to have knee replacement surgery and concentrate on school ending. Hope she sees this and let’s me know she is still well in New Jersey

TKR advice please.
Previously being in the building trade the cartilage in my knees has completely gone and I don't know if I should keep walking my normal amount or try to restrict movement as it's bone on bone. I was supposed to have had them done 5 years ago when the right knee still had a bit of cartliage. I'm in terrible

In the current climate, how can I get help to trial T3 - if I am prepared to fund meds myself? Felt unwell for years on T4.
I'm 60 and have been on 100/125mg Levo for over 30 years. For the last two years following a serious accident and total knee replacement, I've had severe fatigue, massive weight gain, swollen legs/arms and breathlessness. Endocrinologist just says my body is 'in trauma' and prescribed anti-depressants

Week 6 done!
I did my 3rd run of week 6 last night. I was dreading this and usually the first few minutes of running I’m mentally struggling to not quit. But I kept going and after I got to 14 minutes of running I sort of felt like I could do it. With each step I gave myself a pep talk and pushed through. Feels

Getting Sick and tired of PMR and other Stuff!
Its Mothers Day! My bouquet of Roses is a Flare, and I'm getting pretty frustrated with this whole PMR business, (and other stuff)!! Newest diagnosis for the pain I'm having in my lower back, is stenosis and stuff. Pain is chronic and 24-7 , (unless I dose with pain pills). Surgery is around

10 percent rule
In years past while recovering from injury or sickness, I used the ten percent rule. I’ve incorporated this as a guideline to speed recovery and seems to be working so far. Basically find an activity you can do and increase the amount by Ten percent every week. It could be by walking a hundred metres
