My Story and Yesterday's Dose of Pred.
Hi everyone, I have often read this forum or another like it. I would like an opinion on my story, if possible. Thanks and sorry for my spelling laziness.. Story of Polymyalgia Rheumatica First I developed what was eventually diagnosed as fibromyalgia at 34. Then had endometriosis and got a hysterectomy

Partial knee replacement
My knee doctor has recommended a partial knee replacement from my arthritis where I have bone on bone on the inside of my left knee. Has anyone had this done? What was your experience like? I'm considering having it done in Jan. '22.

Scar tissue after surgery
Need some advice. My daughter has an connective tissue disease and is on Plaquenil. She had to have knee surgery twice and both time scar tissue grow back causing pain and swelling (synovitis). The ortho dr wants to go back in and clean out the scar tissue again but I feel that her auto immune is playing

Finished first run - what a relief
I'm excited to start (and finish) my first run of my first week. Following knee surgery I've been very cautious about running. The program made it easy to get started!

Knee surgery, worried about bronchiectasis infection
Hi all does anyone else have experience with knee surgery who has got bronchiectasis, copd and asthma, I am quite worried about the risk of infection during anaesthetic and not going forward for surgery means wearing a knee brace, longer than 6mths is not going to be any help.what to do ?

Graduation run
I did it! I honestly never thought 9 weeks ago that I could do this. 2 years ago I was diagnosed as type 1 diabetic and had a full knee replacement so this is a massive achievement for me.

On going Pain after knee op
I had an op for total knee replacement last year, but still get a strange pain in the leg it feels like a bone moving under the knee , cracks and sends a pain through the leg. A bit like when you hit the funny bone in your arm but slightly more severe. Any ideas on what to do ?, other than persist

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Hello everyone! I hope you don't mind me posting. I normally lurk on the Rheumatoid Arthritis site (NRAS), but am having some overlapping bone issues at present. I was hoping someone might be able to offer me some advice/insight/tips, etc! I'm 52 now, and have had severe Juvenile RA since I was 14.

GCA, Adrenal Insufficiency, and an Ice Cream Head.
I am 83 and was diagnozed with GCA in October 2019. I finished the course of prednisolone on the April 2021 without having had a flare up. In early January 2021 I had a successful left knee replacement. Unfortunately, no provision was made for my GCA during, or after, the major surgery. For 3 weeks

Week 7 run 1 but a sore knee
Hi everyone, I found out 1 was type 1 diabetic last year and also had a full knee replacement so figured was a good time to get fit and try and lose some weight. I’m now on week 7 run 1 and can’t believe I was able to run for 25 mins. My knee is starting to hurt which might be down to my technique. Any
