I had an internal ultrasound which showed my ovary was stuck to my uterus so they said that it was possible endometriosis. They referred me for a laparoscopy which showed everything was normal ? Can someone explain why they would say my ovary and uterus was stuck in my ultrasound but not in surgery?

I actually had the opposite issue where many fertility gynaecologists over the years told me that my ovary being behind my uterus was normal, until I saw an endometriosis specialist who said it was probably stuck there with endometriosis tissue - and it was. Maybe they just dont know for sure until they go in. I’ve also found from my experience that gynaecologists who don’t specialise in endometriosis, don’t always know as much about it as we’d hope.
