low immunoglobulins and knee replacement

I’m contemplating total knee replacement. My concern is that my immunoglobulins have sunk below normal range - but not low enough to start infusions.

Has anyone else had to consider this? What recommendations were made to you? Did you go ahead with surgery? Did you have complications?

So much to think about is making me anxious!

Since being diagnosed 5 years ago I have had both knees replaced. I made a great recovery with both but did draw attention to the fact I had CLL thinking that I may need antibiotics but didn’t. I was pretty fit going into both. It’s a good idea to get it done sooner rather than later. Good luck and I’d say go for it asap❣️
