25mg prednisolone and health outcome of baby
hi all, mine is an ivf pregnancy. I was wondering if anyone else here has taken 25mg of prednisone during first trimester for high NK cells? I took this with intralipid infusions. I’m now in third trimester but have been reading that prednisone during pregnancy can be associated with developmental

Finding ivf clinics abroad for egg donor
Hello everyone, after having 6 rounds of ivf and no live baby, my husband and I have decided to take the route of donor eggs. I am suprisingly excited whilst have the cocktail of emotions, of grief, feeling overwhelmed and sadness. I am looking into clinics abroad specifically as I’m looking for a

Follow up ultrasound for cirrhosis, shown polyp In gallbladder
Hi, looking if anyone has experience/ info on this? is it common, linked to cirrhosis ? It’s completely thrown me as I’ve been feeling healthy since diagnosis last year. This was my first US since. I was hoping for news that my liver looked slightly better than original scan, as I’ve worked my backside

Deciding to stop
Hello, I am wondering if or how people decided to stop trying to be a mother. We have been trying 4 years. My husband has a child (which we don't see due to parental alienation) so we don't qualify for IVF. We don't have funds for private IVF. No other options but hope but I feel broken now. No one seems

Dealing with endo after children in late thirties
hi there I’m 37 and had two children via IVF when I was 33 and 35. I have stage 4 recto vaginal endometriosis and had a bowel resection and temporary stoma when I was 31 before starting IVF. Now I’m finished having children, I’ve gone back on the pill and run it back to back to prevent periods. I’m

Stopping Injections After 3 Loading Doses
Hi! I’m new here and learning so much from reading all of the posts here. I was diagnosed with low B12 levels earlier on this year, although my PA antibodies came back negative. I was put on injections, and was meant to have 6 over 2 weeks followed by 1 every 3 months, however my GP had to stop them

PSMA PET SCAN AND PSA
I had a disagreement with my RO today and wonder if he is right. My last PSMA PET Scan in Dec 2023 showed no progression. End January onwards I have an on off pain in the left ribcage area with an increasing frequency. To recap....PT3bN1Mx, RP in 2019, IMRT 2020 and on ADT for 30 months, currently completed

Another negative 🙄
That's my 5th failed transfer. Embryo #6 with era results factored in. Always stark white, always the same period feelings day 8 onwards. Nothing ever changes. I'm 43 now and my journey with my own eggs looks to be over. I've tried everything. 3 years of ivf, plus 4 before that trying and on waiting

Endo help
hi all, hope you’re well. I’m definitely repeating myself here (sorry), but looking for some reassurance 💛 As a back story, I’m 36, have endometriosis and 3 x failed rounds of ivf/icsi which includes 2 x transfers (top quality) and 4 pgta tested abnormal embryos. A recent MRI also shows fibroids,

Adding more stims mid Cycle
Hi, This is my second round of IVF, and they have changed me to a long protocol to try and get more eggs, I have been stimming for 6 days, and had bloods yesterday, which I have been told my hormones levels are not looking goods, and they have added 150 menopur to my cycle along with the Gonal F 300

Slow growing follicles
Anyone got experience with late or slow developing follicles? I am on day 6 of stims and went for my first monitoring scan but only one follicle had grown to a decent size. They could see 6 other follicles there but they were tiny. Wondering if anyone has had similar experience on their IVF cycle and

No positive ovulation test?
We seem to be the poster couple for strange situations in our IVF/ICSI journey. For context - Following my previous posts (1 failed fresh transfer overlapping into a failed natural pregnancy) we were given the option of natural or medicated for our next transfer (embryo 2 of 4). We opted for natural

Chronic endometritis and polypoid endometrium
Hi all, I'm seeking some advice on case anyone has experienced something similar. I'm very confused and unsure on what to do. During my stimulation, my consultant noticed my endometrium appeared to be polypoid and proposed a histeroscopy the cycle after egg retrieval, during the histeroscopy they did

AF and MAD
anyone else have AF and MAD (mitral annular disjunction) . It was picked up during cardiac MRI. The displacement is 5mm, mild mitral valve prolapse and regurgitation. Neither my cardiologist or EP have said anything about it apart from put me on another very long waiting list to see a more specialist

Addissons disease
Good afternoon. I was diagnosed with Adison's disease in 2022. Prescribed Prednisolone 5 mg. Now I take hydrocortisone tablets 20 mg per day. Fludrocortisone 0.1 mg. Once a year there is an Adrinal crisis, I end up in intensive care... Constant weakness, no vitality, I sleep a lot... I am only 43

Final Pluvicto shot and things OK
I just had my 6th, and final, injection. Feeling well but everyone concerned with kidney function dropping -- hopefully transient and not an on-going trend, on the plus side this is the last time it has to deal with all that radioactive liquid. Chugging water and peeing like a champ! To review:
