Lap 3 on the horizon
I've been away from this forum for a while for one reason and another but endo has reared its ugly head yet again. You can see my whole story in past posts but basically I'm stage 3/4 endo and have had x2 laps, last one in march 2018. I have tried the pill, mirena and now qlaira with no luck or relief

First asthma, then acid reflux, now eczema. What next?
Since end of September I have been struggling to get/keep my coughing (CVA) under control. Had 2 bouts of Pred. Changed inhaler to Fostair. Had blood tests and ECG and doc says I am as healthy as a horse. Suggested I have silent acid reflux and prescribed omeprazole which stopped the night time coughing

Health Anxiety
As a current medical student, I find that a lot of our training focuses on trying to find an “answer” for a wide variety of physical symptoms. We take each symptom and try to piece together a “cause” or “diagnosis.” This has caused me to enter into the world of health anxiety and to constantly think

Acid Reflux
Hi all I had a flare a few weeks ago and had to go up to 10mg pred, which was disappointing, as I had got down to 3 and was trying to get down to 2 and a half. I am getting really bad acid reflux, something I've never suffered from before, occasionally heartburn, but never like this My GP thinks it's

So down
Just had another visit to Gp about acid reflux, have got that horrible lump in the throat and burning on and off most days, this despite being on nexium. So stressed about it, ibs flaring as well. Anyway doc thinks I need an endoscopy, had one abt 3 years ago, only a couple of small benign polyps found

Esophageal dysmotility - failed esophageal manometry test - where do I go from here?
I am a 40 year old mother of 2 young children and have suffered from dysphagia since last year, starting with pill dysphagia in the last months of pregnancy, and then gradually to solids which became acute in September 2018. I am obese, although have lost 12 kgs in the last 2.5 months due to not eating

Slight dizziness when standing up.
Hi folks. I have stable angina which was confirmed by stress tests 4 months ago. I am on Atrovastatin, aspirin, and Omeprazole. New diagnosis Hashimotos help with next steps!
Hi im 28 and just been diagnosed with hashimotos - I do hope someone might be able to help me. Since August I've suffered with globus sensation after a period of high stress and anxiety. Eventually went to the doctor in September and stated that as it felt like a tightening and lump around my thyroid

Bronchitis and drop in fev1
I am very concerned. I just got back from my asthma doctor, I have asthma and COPD. I had an acute attack of bronchitis with a very dry hacking cough. It Loosened up a bit today. The doctor insisted on giving me a lung function test. I didn’t really want to take it because I was so congested. He does

Saw asthma consultant
Well my ct scan was clear of whatever he was looking for. So he said it just seems my meds have just stopped working for me. So I’ve been put on a 6 week course of preds, and azithromycin and then once that course has finished I’m going onto nebulised preds to support me as I wean down off them. Staying

Nausea with methotrexate
Just a short question 😀 my son gets some nausea and tiredness the day after methotrexate tablets , it not very severe. He took 20mg of omeprazole and it seemed to help , is this ok to keep doing ? He doesn’t take omeprazole all the time , maybe he should ?
