Does anyone struggle with headaches when taking apixabin
I have been taking it since 14/4 and have had a bad headache everyday This is the second time that I have tried it - the first in January when I was diagnosed with Covid but I stopped after 2 weeks because of headaches and rectal bleeding (all ok) For the first 4 weeks I was on antibiotics for a painful

I am suffering so much that I am furious that I am not allowed to get a life-ending injection! Since 3 years I am short of breath and getting

Upper abdominal pain upon waking every single morning.
Hi, I’ve been trying to find answers for over 5 years. I get pretty bad upper abdominal pain upon waking every morning but after an hour or so propped up in bed it fades and I can get up. Alcohol makes it far worse and means I’ll wake up in the night feeling terrible with pain, sweating and nausea. Hence

Trying so hard to feel normal - overhauling the supplement plan
Hi 🙂, Just meanderings of a tired brain today. Hoping I'm not the only one on this wave-length. Some days with endo are really tough, and some are deceptively "easy" like today, where I end up asking myself why I "can't feel normal". Stage IV endo is where I'm at, waiting for Tuesday for the recommendation

Possible ulcerated oesophagus!
I've had back pain recently that doesn't feel like PMR and is accompanied by acid reflux. Went to see the doctor today and she feels it might be referred pain from an ulcerated oesophagus due to too long on Pred (2 and 1/2 years and now on 5mg.) Has anyone else experienced this? She has ordered more

Rituximab and statins - a good combo?
Morning Peeps 🙂 I am having my first Rituximab infusion 24th May. I have high cholesterol and have booked an appointment for a phone consultation with my GP today. I think it's about time I went on statins to reduce my high cholesterol. We have discussed it before, some time back, but she was reluctant

Not Sure What Is Causing This
I have had excess stomach acid issues all my life. As a child I was diagnosed with acidosis. I couldn't eat anything fried or melted cheese or cooked tomatoes without being sick. As I got into my teens it seemed to mostly go away although in my late teens and early twenties the heartburn returned with

Endoscopy today
Good morning I had my endoscopy this morning. The Dr said it was all clear and no signs of GORD or anything else. That’s great, but I have symptoms of something! I get very bloated at times, nausea, pain + the reflux in the oesophagus / throat feelings- burning, horrible taste in mouth etc. He said

Is there much difference between Gastro-resistant prednisolone and just regular prednisolone???
So the long term pred is having a huge impact on my stomach and reflux. Always suffered with GERD last 15years+ but under control but now it’s actually impacting me daily. My pharmacist recommended trying to switch to gastro-resistant prednisolone. So I’ve got my new tablets and now I’m wondering will

Best PPI to take with Hypothyroidism
Can anyone suggest a PPI that doesn’t make you feel more ill than you are. Have been prescribed a few different ones but the side effects are not tolerable. The most recent ones Esomeprazole just wiped me out. Joint pain and muscle weakness along with chills, headache and constipation to name but a few

Giving up Omeprazole
Hi all. I'm contemplating giving up my Omeprazole. I don't seem to have any problems in that area and why take it if not needed (hopefully). I know it has to be tapered off, so thought I could one every two days for a couple of weeks then one every three days for a couple of weeks and see what happens

Is omeprazole necessary?
Now that my GP has their own pharmacist I had a conversation with one the other day. She was concerned I wasn’t taking omeprazole and I explained my reasoning behind it. When first diagnosed six years ago I started it along with alendronic acid totally oblivious as to why. After a few months and realising

Blood pressure meds and increased heart rate.
I have recently been prescribed lacipidine 4mg for high blood pressure. However I've noticed that whilst taking it my heart rate has increased. I'm also taking dabigatran, omeprazole and atorvastatin. I've always had a good BP of 130/70 and HR about 85. BP suddenly went up to 200/85. Was
