Post total knee replacement
Anyone who has had a total knee replacement had more pain in the hip area than the knee. Having a job to keep my knee straight at night as keep waking up every hour with tremendous pain in the hip and end up getting up and having a walk round. It's inhibiting my physio as well. It didn't help that ended

Elbow Replacement Surgery P3 on Waiting List
Saw the elbow surgeon yesterday, he's putting me on the waiting list, category P3. Can someone explain what that means, categories were not mentioned when I had neurosurgery and hip replacements. Thanks.

PD and orthopedic surgeries
I’m debating having a partial knee replacement (for patella femoral arthritis) AND/OR Morton’s neuroma surgery. I really need both, but am very concerned about not being able to exercise, the way I usually do, for at least a few months. Would it be wise to schedule both surgeries just a couple of

Looking for TKR advice
Hello everyone. I’m a 55 year old male who has had knee problems for the majority of my life. I think it originated from sports injuries as a schoolboy but I remember twisting it while at work when I was about 17 too. I have a long history of having treatment for knee problems including 2 or 3 arthroscopy

I’m finding this weather unbelievably difficult to handle. I’m central hypothyorid but medicated…( never feel well but never mind ) For the last couple of months I have been suffering one hot flush after another or just hot all the time and perspiring constantly. It’s horrid. Can’t figure out if this

Night Sweats and Insomnia
Hi. I'm 67 and started the menopause around 50. Most of my symptoms have settled down but I suffer badly from insomnia and still have phases of hot sweats (both in the day and night) . Even when I don't have sweats I have what I can only describe as hormone surges at night (this is what it feels like

Advice on latest thyroid test
I am seeing GP tomorrow regarding latest blood tests. Currently take 125mg levothyroxine. TSH 0.32 (-65%) 0.35-4.94 T4 15.3 (62.38%) 9-19.1 T3 4.3 (52.78%) 2.4-6.0 TSH was flagged as Abnormal so GP will mention that - it was 1.08 in Feb and 1.25 last October (same ranges) but no T4 or T3 tested.
