hi there

DEXA -3.7 and -3.5

Did have low bmi for many years no oestrogen

Now on HRT

What levels is ideal for hrt ? No one can tell me optimal range ?

Ctx and 0.5 and Pn1p 106

All the rest is normal.

T4 16 12 to 22

And t3 5.1 4.1 to 6.8

I’m only 48 .

Can I improve it with jumping everyday and nutrition ? I don’t want the injections.

Thank you

Hi, you are very young to have such T Scores.

I am not a medical professional but would advise you to definitely stop the jumping!!! With the T scores you have you probably are high risk of having a fracture.Walking is one of the safest ways to build bone and you could try a weighted vest.

As for Nutrition yes the right diet and vitamins can help

This is the think the doctor was saying it’s only 10perfent chance and in recent letter suggesting infusion.

I don’t want to loose my teeth

In a panic

It does not make you lose your teeth. What you are thinking about is ONJ of the jaw.

This is something that is very rare and can occur when a person has been on the treatment for sometime. It can happen after having teeth extracted.

You will read many things about medications that can be worrying but sometimes we can’t manage without them.

Perhaps if you can try and think about it in a different way you will not be panicking.

For instance have you ever read the possible side effects from paracetamol!! And if we were told we had a heart problem we would not turn down the medications needed.

On the other hand we can try the medications and if they give us side effects that interfere with our quality of life then we can stop them.

I have a total of 15 fractures in the spine and unfortunately have had severe side effects to the treatments but it does not stop me trying new ones. I always say we have to try them

Otherwise we will never know if they could help us.xx

So sorry I clicked send before ending.

Nutrition can be very helpful but for some of us with low T scores it is not enough.

The nurses on the ROS helpline are amazing and will offer you the correct advice. You will find them to be friendly and very very knowledgeable.

My advice would be to give them a call. X
