Confusion about MPN. Please help
The reason I’m extra concerned at the moment is bc my husband and I are doing
IVF
and I know that blood disorders can cause miscarriage and complications. I’ve expressed my concerns to my Dr and she’s wants me to take baby aspirin to be safe, but I’d like to see a specialist as well.

First Round of IVF, hating every second. Is it worth it?
Hello, I'm 39 (40 in two days) and we are four days into our first round of
IVF
and I'm on Ovaleap & Menopur. Just started Fyremadel today. I am finding this experience deeply unpleasant. Am so tired and listless if not cramping or dizzy.

Can you use IUI for low sperm motility?
We found this out by getting tested at an
IVF
clinic. They instantly offered us
IVF
. We have had 2 failed rounds. Well one was an early misscarraige. I was wondering if anyone has had IUI for low sperm motility.

desperately need advice on clinics that specialise in over 40 and low AMH
We have had 9 attempts at
IVF
all at the same NHS clinic (we are now paying privately) and things just keep going wrong leaving me now feeling like our clinic may not be approaching our case in the best way.

Not promoting DE route but just want to tell mama’s out there please don’t give up. Opting Egg Donor route is no harm
Hope your
ivf
journey is going smoothly and please don’t give up. And always stay positive, stress or anxiety during the treatment can bring flaws. So positivity is very important. Personal experience, when I took too much stress or overthinking, I had failed cycle. So please calm.

Dealing with it all - egg donation
Still, at 39, a round of “insurance”
IVF
egg freezing led to no eggs surviving, an internal infection and 1 week in the hospital. Now, 2 years into a great marriage (with 2 step kids) 46 yo.

Intralipids infusions -FET IVF
For those of you who had or is having intralipids during treatment. At point in your treatment did you start it? And how often/frequent did you take it? Up to what point of pregnancy did you stop? Your response welcome

Still here, trying for first baby since 2019 - anyone else?
Have had several
IVF
treatments, with only one embryo taking, but leading to termination due to incompatibility with life. I feel like I must be the most complex case ever as every thing seems to be an issue - e.g. low reserve, thyroid issue, high NK cells, an endometrima, cervical fluid issues.

low beta hcg after IVF day 5 fresh transfer
Got my first beta back on 13dp5dt and it was only 167. I am spiraling because this number is considered low. Googling everything did not help because most of the research agrees that it is too low. Doing a second beta on Monday (16dp5dt) and am so anxious. What are the odds this pregnancy will be viable

Hi everyone, I’m about to begin my
IVF
journey. I wondered if anyone on here was in a similar place as me. This is my first cycle so I have no idea what to expect really.

Fostimon, Zomacton, Melatonin, ovaleap pentips
unused medication donation Hi ladies, I haven't been on this forum for a while, as we have been taking some time out of this
IVF
madness. We have some Fostimon 75iu left that expires next month. I would feel so sad to bin this medication. Altogether we have 8x 75iu of Fostimon.

Is anyone else really bad at making treatment decisions? 😫
To give a bit of background, the reason we had to start
ivf
was because I have PCOS and just didn’t ovulate.

Potential tubal issues - is laparoscopy worth it?
We are told that there's no wait list for
IVF
so if we do get a laparoscopy privately before I get a residency and become eligible for NHS funded
IVF
, that means that we can try for a couple of cycles without help and if no joy we could go straight to
IVF
through NHS.

Sensitive: *update* Am I one of those miracle stories or is this more heartache and help please...
I don't know what day this is equivalent to for
IVF
transfers - going off the ovulation test if I ovulated 13 or maybe 14 days ago, is that like 8 or 9 days post 5dt?

Infertility and Weight
We went to the Dr for support and they said that we meet all the criteria for
IVF
but as we have a BMI of over 30, they will not help us until we bring our BMI down :-( For me this is very hard as I have PCOS and other digestive issues which make weight loss very challenging.

What to ask on review appointment?
This was our first try on
IVF
, wondering what should I be discussing with the consultant? I feel a bit blind as the embryos weren't tested, so I'm not sure if it was the embryo that failed or something else.
