For those of you who had or is having intralipids during treatment.
At point in your treatment did you start it?
And how often/frequent did you take it?
Up to what point of pregnancy did you stop?
Your response welcome

Best ask your clinic to explain the time line that the treatment will follow
Good luck with your treatment

hi lovely,
I had 3 infusions.
1 the day before transfer, 1 at 6 weeks pregnant and 1 at 8 weeks xx
OK.. .. thank you lots. My clinic has prescribed 1 per week up to 28 weeks. It just sounds alot to me . As its so expensive as well .
Hello! I also had intralipid infusions, the first one on the day before my transfer, the second one about a week after OTD and the final one about four weeks after the second one. Did your clinic provide you with a leaflet on intralipids? It is considered an add-on and my clinic did state in their documentation that efficacy post twelve weeks is not proven, they are using it to improve implantation and reduce the risk of miscarriage in the first twelve weeks. It is always worth having another chat with your consultant if you are unsure why you are meant to continue with certain treatments post a certain point. Wishing you the best of luck! x
Thank you for this detailed response. And I agree with all you say I feel its more a precautionary measure my doctor is taking .. which is OK if it was more reasonable priced.
My clinic is based abroad and its alot cheaper there. I am trying to express this to them and my concerns.
My UK doctor i had prior had recommended once every 4wks up to 28 weeks.
Think I might do twice a month . a compromise between both.
