Delayed 2nd period after failed cycle
Also can you start your next
IVF
without getting your period - I am guessing not, but have read a few bits of research that say you can!

Repeat Implantation Failure at St Barts - after how many do they do any more investigations? If at all
Hi, anybody else wo did
IVF
at St Barts in London being NHS funded and had repeaded implantation failure? Any idea how many failed implantations do you need until they do any other investigations - like hysterescopy, endometrial byopsy, etc?

Egg retrieval day
I know quality matters over quantity but am now freaking out as I got 20 eggs last time and only 3 embryos, so thinking we might be lucky to get 1 or 2 day 5 blasts this time 😠urgh, DNA fragmentation is also an issue and im now wishing we went for ICSI over
IVF
😞 this is round 2 so I only have 1 more

DHEA levels
So my ovarian reserve is low but I still ovulate and had regular periods until I started the
IVF
journey. Anyway, I was prescribed DHEA (abroad) in the hope to improve my AMH, what it has from 0.02 in aug 2023 to 0.05 Jan 2024 (a small improvement).

ICSI risks?!
Everything went well on my side; I was elated with my 20 eggs 💪 but the embryologist decided on the day to do ICSI instead of
IVF
due to my partners sperm. 7 fertilised the next day and they're now in the freezer until we're ready to transfer next month.

Hycosy or HSG
I already had one
Ivf
cycle failed. Now still not feeling energy for next cycle as feeling scared. And want to try my all option then to go for 2nd round. Could anyone guide if anyone had private Hycosy or HSG also what is different in these both. And roughly how much they cost privately.

displaced implantation window - can I still conceive naturally?
I’ve not been on here for a while, been trying to heal after my unsuccessful
IVF
journey 😢 During my treatment, they discovered through the ERA that I needed an extra 12 hours of progesterone before transfer, therefore my window was displaced.

Synarela stopped no bleeding or periods yet.
Hello everyone , I am 39 years old lady and was under
IVF
1st cycle treatment. Doctor started synarela first and later on Menopur injection but afterwards in Ultrasound they found some liquid and not much matured eggs so discontinued the procedure.

changing sperm donor
Hi we did a round of reciprocal
IVF
in November which unfortunately failed. we had 13 eggs collected of which only 1 fertilized. we are now starting our second round and wondering if to change the sperm donor or starting fresh with a new one. Has anyone else been in this situation?

Another negative 🙄
I've tried everything. 3 years of
ivf
, plus 4 before that trying and on waiting lists. I've one 2bb left in the freezer but I don't even want to put myself through the transfer of it right now. The disappointment is just too much. It's just never me, I'm never the lucky one.

Adding more stims mid Cycle
Hi, This is my second round of
IVF
, and they have changed me to a long protocol to try and get more eggs, I have been stimming for 6 days, and had bloods yesterday, which I have been told my hormones levels are not looking goods, and they have added 150 menopur to my cycle along with the Gonal F 300

Fresh IVF transfer - progesterone level
Hi All, Im just wondering what our progesterone level should be, around transfer? I had a progesterone test 3 days post egg retrieval, which I received today and it measured at 190.8nmol/L, is that too high? (First progesterone level tested before embryo transfer - so I have no clue). Many

PGTA testing results in over 40s- what are the success rates?
Hi all, We are about to get ready for our 2nd
ivf
cycle and hoping to have enough embryos for PGTA testing this cycle. Have any over 40s had this done and what is the likelihood of having a chromosomal normal embryo?

40 y.o. need to make decision another IUI over IVF, very low reserve, mentally at edge
Today doctor said what I knew already, IUI after 40 is 8% chance, but
IVF
would be x3 more. Although she says it will also most likely to fail first time and we need a few cycles.

7 days after transfer and cramping badly
This is my third
IVF
cycle, first one with 8 eggs none were viable, second I had two eggs which were massive and couldn’t be used. Third which is the one now, produced 2 eggs of which one made to blastocyst stage and was implanted 7 days ago.

*Sensitive* recurrent MCs, faint bfp
I have an extremely low amh 1.75 pmol/l, so I was told I should move to
IVF
. I am due to start
IVF
medications next month, but we kept trying naturally.

methylfolate. Worried about my vitamins! Folic acid
I was taking pregnacare for three months before my first cycle of
ivf
but realised (especially after reading it starts with the egg) that the supplements are not sufficient for someone undergoing
ivf
or over 40 trying to conceive.

Pergoveris vs gonal f
I did my first
IVF
round at the age of 35 using gonal f. This was successful. Fast forward to current time and I’ve been on pergoveris for my last two rounds which has not been very successful. We have decided to do another round in June.

Angry at the world today
I really want
ivf
to work but some days it feels so hopeless and I'm so tired of hearing other people's baby news, especially when they already have a child and had no issues conceiving. And mother's day feels like the heaviest weight too.
