Hycosy or HSG

hi please all guide me. I already had one Ivf cycle failed. Now still not feeling energy for next cycle as feeling scared. And want to try my all option then to go for 2nd round. Could anyone guide if anyone had private Hycosy or HSG also what is different in these both. And roughly how much they cost privately.

Hi, sorry to hear about your IVF cycle. I had a HyCosy this week with CRGH who were brilliant. I think it cost around £600/£650. When I was discussing HyCosy and HSG I was told that with HyCosy you have ultrasound images and with HSG you have X-Ray. I read that the HSG can be more painful but is better at clearing any blockages in the tubes if you have any. I was recommended the HyCosy and didn’t find it painful. Fingers crossed for you x

Did you get easily appointment or is there long wait

No it was very quick, you just have to wait until the first day of your period before you book in the actual HyCosy date between days 6-13 of your cycle
