Hi there

Wondering if someone could help me, when I’m having a bad day I get pins and needles in my left arm quite bad, every time I mention it to my Dr or Cardiac team, I never get a straight answer, I had a cardiac arrest in October and had two stents fitted, my Stress MRI Scan came back with dilated lv with servere systolic dysfunction LVEF 34% and referred for an ICD only just started getting support after 7 months

Good morning Diy66. I think you need to be a bit more demanding and say you want answers for the pins and needles down your arm. It isn't acceptable to not be given an answer. They should do there job. Brian

Just hope you can get through the night. And go down A and E if you have to. At least they should do xrays and scans to check for major issues. Brian

Hi BrianWell I had a crap night, mostly awake, spoke with Cardiac nurse this morning who recommended I speak to my Doctor, but should be going to A&E to be checked out, phoned my GP surgery a Dr phoned back, arranged for blood test tomorrow, ECG for Monday and to see her on Tuesday, no need to get checked today, sometimes I despair, when I ask for help I’m just not getting it, I feel very lost with all this

Yes it is very frustrating. Your only option if it gets too bad is just go to A and E. I can't believe they haven't organised a scan to check for blood clots with it being in your arm and travelling down to your leg. Take care. Brian

Dear Diy66

Totally agree with Bingo88, answers need to be found, you really need to chase up both your Dr/Heart team again, as you have already guessed the pins and needles are not normal.

Take care and please let us know the outcome

Yes I think it depends on how much pain and how worried you are about the condition. I know its very busy but mainly because people can't get an appointment at there own doctors. Brian
