Changing from Levo to NDT - dosing advice needed
My vitamin levels are good as I supplement with Vit D, folate, b12, selenium with exception of
iron
which I struggle to bring up - I would appreciate advice on best way to bring this up too.

Broccoli tendersteam
Hi guys I just wanted to find out an opinion, I need to have lots of
iron
rich foods I've bought some tender steam broccoli today from the co-op on special offer I didn't have a steamer so I had to boil them a little bit of water and then put a lid on top of the pot to get the Steam.

After 3 o/clock
We're thinking of reporting this latest catastrophe as if I had taken new
iron
tablets the whole thing would have sent my blood through the roof. I'm not happy at all.

Blood Test Results Critique Please
I asked for full blood count and
iron
panel, do these tests align with that request? I asked that B12 be excluded as I SI EOD.

Low dose aspirin
Had anyone who is on low dose aspirin for life, found their
iron
levels have dropped. Went for pre assessment for total knee replacement a few weeks before Christmas and blood test showed my
iron
levels had dropped, so now going for
iron
infusion at local hospital this afternoon.

will it ever get better
I take no other meds except for an
iron
supplement. My
iron
and ferretin have been checked regularly and I can’t recall the result but they were above the levels recommend but the Aus medical guidelines for rls.

I have RLS and recently updated iron labs revealed the following: Ferritin=59.2ng/mL & Transferrin Saturation = 53%.
I have been taking oral
iron
supplements (
Iron
sulfate 325mg) and Vitamin C 200 mg daily on an empty stomach but the ferritin has been going up but slowly but the transferrin saturation has gone up much higher. Should I continue with my
iron
supplements?

Latest on Ared supplements
just wondering about latest reviews on Areds as there were cautions on using these re the
iron
in them. Was taking two a day as recommended but decided to only take one.

Iron
is low. My g p keeps saying it’s mental health issues but surely that cannot make my bloods deranged. She did an e consult to hepology and he said I ve clearly not damaged my liver but with an alt of 97 and ggt of 500 how can he say that ? Any feedback would be appreciated x

Where can I get a blood test for 15 year old please 🙏
Hello ☺️ I have Hashimotos myself and I would like to get my daughter tested also plus her key vitamins as her periods are heavy at the moment and lasting 7 days so her
iron
could be low . I could try GP but doubt they will check everything ! Many thanks , Kelly 💝

Folate timing
I take it 30 mins to an hour after, but I’m not sure if it’s like
iron
and should be several hours apart. Many thanks for your help.

Update and Adventure Buddy!
We thought it might be my
iron
levels, but hematology says that it's my MS. Neuro says it could be my
iron
, and wants to wait until I get my
iron
infusion, either this Friday or next, to see if it helps.

Has Anyone Had a Virtual Consultation?
Hi, has anyone had a private virtual video consultation with Dr Klein of the Cambridge
Iron
Clinic? Just wondering how it went and does it work well through this medium. Or, has anyone been referred to him through the NHS? He also works at Papworth hospital.
