What other supplements do you take to support thyroid health besides vit D,
iron
, B12, Folate? These are already under control and at good levels. Selenium? Iodine? Thanks!

I’ve never supplemented
iron
but always have results at the low end of the range. My hbA1c is 42, so not so good but not sure if I need to take action (I’m 70).

I have just received some blood test results, having had an

When to take Medication, Vits and HRT?
If I was to add the Estrogen and Progesterone would this be ok to take together at bedtime, taking into consideration that I take
Iron
at that time? Thank you!

My Labs are back- recommendations pretty please.
Had yearly physical and got my GP to do the different
iron
labs. It appears that all my labs are WNL’s, I am wondering if I should take some
iron
supplements anyway to see if it will decrease my RLS symptoms.

Hello, does how quickly you feel better after initial b12 injection(s) and
iron
infusion depend on your deficiencies severity?

RLS in legs and arms
My ferritin levels are high so Dr. doesn't think that testing for
iron
brain absorption is helpful. Take magnesium and Vit. B at night. Any opinions would be welcomes. Thanks and good luck to everyone suffering from this debilitating syndrome.

Serum ferritin too high?
I had an
iron
infusion a few months ago and this is my new level. I have been feeling very anxious, having panic attacks, not sleeping etc... and was wondering if it could be because of this? At the same time of the infusion I began SI B12 EOD for 6 weeks.

Low Ferritin and raised Iron
I am aware of the problem with taking
iron
if not necessary, and had those levels checked too. They were previously:- 15 and 26 (9-30), but have gone up to 41, so now over range. I presume I should stop the
iron
tablets? I’m just not sure what else to do to keep my ferritin rising.

Symprove for digestive issues?
I have had loads of scans, tests and consults and they all say nothing serious appears to be going on, so I have to put it down to low B12,
iron
etc. I am hoping once I start my injections it will help, but thinking about trying Symprove in the meantime.

Starting levothyroxine- which brand?
I also take a bunch of supplements; Vit D, B complex, selenium, magnesium,
iron
; do they all need to be taken away from the Levothyroxine? And I understand that it can’t be taken with food, but could it be taken with a decaf tea…? Not sure that I could be awake for very long without tea!

Taking Vitamin C
This might seem a daft question but I need to increase my
iron
& read I should take it with 100mg of VitC. How do I take 100mg of VitC? All the tablets are 1000mg. The average tangerine is 50mg & not what I’d choose to eat at night. Do I buy a VitC powder?

UK General Election. Campaign for better Treatment of RLS
Iron
therapy, including
iron
infusions should be available as first line treatment and GPs should know the extensive list of medications that actually trigger and worsen RLS, including anti depressants, sedating anti histamines, statins, beta blockers and PPI meds.
