Vits tested
I’ll ask the GP for some
iron
, I’ve bought a blood test online which is more thorough. Waiting for day 3 of my period as there’s lots of hormones included, just wondered if the b12 or folate are ok?

Vitamin and mineral deficiencies/Thyroid dysfunction.. Chicken or Egg?
Before I spend my hard earned money on going to a private ENDO because the NHS is failing me I wanted to ask what you all thought about the problem of
iron
deficiency and vitamin D deficiency and how this relates to underactive thyroid .

Abnormally high thyroid levels
I take daily 3000iu of Vit D oral spray ( and went on holiday to a Med country in autumn),
iron
regularly (alternate days ), selenium daily and magnesium 3 times a week. I took the test about 9am but had taken Levo about 8 hours previously. My levels have never been this high.

Can NDT make Hashimoto's worst?
I've been gluten free for eons and take all the other supplements to keep
iron
, B12, D, etc in good ranges. If you take NDT with Hashi, do you mind sharing if it has been working for you please?

Fed up, drained! Thyroid?
I take vitamin D 4000iu daily,
Iron
citrate 14mg, Omega 3, Zinc Piccolinate 22mg (I notice white spots appear on my nails if I stop taking it), Vitamin B complex. Diet wise, I don't eat any red meat or fish (I do eat chicken), have fruit and vegetables daily and drink Kefir.

I have been taking
iron
supplement as my ferritin had dropped from my normal 90 to 34 in April. Should I be asking for further test? I’m getting fed up with feeling unwell although I haven’t fainted and it is not all the time. Any advice welcome. Thank you

Undiagnosed ET….advice please!
Iron
normal but ferritin was low (currently on
iron
supplements). I have a history of allergies, irritable bowel syndrome and spondylosis. I’ve had an endoscopy and colonoscopy, both came back normal albeit minor GERD (acid reflux).

kratom issues
His
iron
levels were checked a few years ago… they were ok. He’s had an Rls issue since childhood… and it’s only been the last 8 years on and off opiods , and pramipexole, that his symptoms are worse. Now the kratom is no longer working to make things worse he’s depressed.
