Sometimes the solution is simple !
A chat with the doctor who confirms that low ferritin - low
iron
stores which can be treated with high doses of
iron
tablets for 3 months. #relief. Off home and can start treatment. Within a few days I am feeling like my old self with all the symptoms disappearing like magic after a few days.

Iron Panel Results
Medichecks said "Often, at the beginning of
iron
deficiency anaemia, your ferritin levels may be low but your
iron
levels are normal; this is because in early anaemia, your body will deplete the
iron
stores first, whilst
iron
levels will still be sufficient" - so I'm guessing maybe this is what's happening

hoping to “Iron” things out!
I’m taking oral
iron
per state of the art RLS guidelines. Any other advice or thoughts on the matter are appreciated 😊

How reliably does NHS retest Blood iron levels after IV Iron?
my new NHS gastroenterologist ordered my
iron
infusion when my GP alerted her to what they are calling complex
iron
deficiency blood test results, some longstanding. I was given Ferinject on April 11th.

Cofactors - B complex?
I had
iron
infusion end of May and have been on EOD B12 injections since then. I am also taking folic acid 5mg every day and a spray vitamin D & K. I have been reading that some people take a B complex, but the one I saw also has folate in it and don’t want to overdo the folate.

Blood test: T3 normal, still feel exhausted on 20 mcg Liothyronine
Thanks for everyone that has been helping me so far, however I had the T3 blood test at the hospital on Wednesday and found out this morning that my T3 is normal, so is TSH and T4, has anyone got any ideas what's happening and why I am so exhausted; I had vit.B12,

will the demand for potassium always remain
The potassium has helped with episodes of panic and anxiety and I am also trying the
iron
and folate as well at different times, I was wondering does this stay like this or about how long does this demand last? thank you for your help.

Iron and B12
Just caught the back end of a TV programme where a "doctor" was advising that an
iron
deficiency and vit B12 deficiency may be the cause of peoples T issues. Anyone been down this route or have I misheard the TV? Tried using search function in the forum but never found anything TIA

folate dropping
Now I am on
iron
supplements. My folate has always been >24. However, since starting the
iron
, my folate has dropped to 15 (still normal…but a drop). I have folate in my multivitamin, but just started adding extra. Has anyone else ever had this experience??

I have PPMS.
I first noticed that I couldn't hit my 6
iron
(favorite fairway
iron
) like I used to and used to joke that I must have some disease. I relized my problem was serious when I began to walk differently and started to fall for no reason.

11yo daughters latest results
She has been off any B12/folate for 5 weeks but has been taking
iron
. Her medical history is low platelets but she obviously has hashimotos. Really low FT4 but high FT3 (body flogging itself?), very bizarre. Symptoms: tiredness, lack of stamina, breathlessness at times, insomnia at times etc.

Iron Infusion Side Effects?
A week ago hematologist recommended
iron
infusion of a different blend than I had once before quite a while back. That infusion was difficult after for having cardio side effects and headaches with minor offsetting positive effect.
